Quote ="Canada red"East-Sard it just seemed strange that Rovers concede 3 less penalties but get a man binned.
Is there a set time after the team warning or just at the ref,s discretion'"
I believe the stats actually are that we conceded 13 penalties and not the beneficiary of 13.
1st half Rovers were canned by James Child and in particular for about 10-15 mins, which resulted in the warning and subsequent binning.
Salford by comparison seemingly conceded a lot less, emphasised by the ironic chants - but conceded something like 3 in a minute right in front of the Rovers fans.
In truth, I thought Child seemingly gave the warning as an after thought, resulting from calls from the away terrace rather than off his back. Again, whenever he pinged Salford in the 2nd half, it was in front of us and after the binning calls etc, seemingly looked at his watch as an after thought, as 'oh yeah ... they're on a warning' ....
He hardly inspires confidence ....
