Yeh im 100% interested il do friendlies and a warm up tournament, i was going to suggest an off season tourney but i suppose our warm up tournament will take its place. We will ALL need to discuss rules, im not saying anyone will cheat at all dont get me wrong! but its not hard for a person to claim they have beat the other person and have an ongoing arguement over it so we will have to all go through a few things

A simple picture of the result then uploaded onto the forum would be the easiest thing to do, back in the noob days of COD 4 this is what sometimes had to be done

Yeah once we have got the 14 players we will decide what rules we are going to play and what systems we will put in place as to recording results etc.

we should do friendlies first to get everyone used to the rules and get used to the game then get the tournament going. Im ready 'whenever' by the way

Once we have 14 players we can allocate teams and as a group we can decide on rules.

Then we'll organize some friendlies and then a knock out tournament.

I'll be starting the site as soon as we get the 14 players names and details so I'll let you know more then.

The biggest thing is deciding the rules and how it's going to work. Obviously it would be great to mirror the SL season but due to personal commitments I'm not sure if this would be possible for everyone.

Yeh trying to mirror the SL season would be fantastic but difficult for alot of people. When the site is up 1 possible way would be to announce the fixtures then before the fixture begins both teams have to message either you, me, whoever is running the thing to confirm the match will go ahead (just an idea?)

Yeah I was thinking that they could post on here to confirm it's going ahead.

Was wondering if a half season would be better so that people don't loose interest in the last few rounds.

Just had an idea for a knock-out tournament so we can warm up for the season.

Two groups of 7
Each team plays the 6 other teams in their group once
Top teams from both groups go through
Group A winner plays Group B runner up and vice versa
Final

Or if we could get two extra players just for the tournament we could do

four groups of 4
Each team plays other 3 in group
Two top teams from each group go through
Quarter final
Semi final
final

If anyone has any suggestions for warm up games/ tournaments post them here and we'll see what everyone wants to do

Yes I like the first idea as we don't need as many people and we could get started asap
