On Saturday October 22nd the RLCF will be holding a programme fair in the Phoenix Bar at the South Leeds Stadium, the home of the Hunslet Hawks. On show to look at or buy from 10.30 onwards will be a large collection of programmes, magazines, books, novels, badges, photographs, DVDs and other items of Rugby League interest.
At 12.30 the auction of some 161 items will begin with the last one being the programme for Wigan v York game played at Central Park in January 1939.
Admission is free and all rugby league fans are invited to attend what is always a very sociable event.
Also on sale will be "The King of Brilliance James Lomas A Rugby League Superstar" who played for York between 1913 (further details on www.llpshop.co.uk) and 1919
