A side note, it's very refreshing to be looking at Rugby League pages or news sites and seeing stories about us. Whether they're true or not, and they can't all be now or we'll have a squad of 214 players, it's nice to feel like we exist again

Yes, it feels as though we exist again. It just goes to show how League One gets overlooked.

I understand K & Cs point of view that we don't want to be giving long contracts to older players who might be on the downgrade but our downfall when we got promoted under Paul Cooke was that we brought in a load of youngsters who weren't good enough. Those who didn't play regularly left because they needed to be on the field every week to aid their development. Those that did play weren't streetwise or good enough.

The players we have signed are proven at this level (and above) so as long as they've not lost their ability, I think we'll be okay. We'll be in a much better place than if we brought in a load of kids.

We won't be okay if we don't bring in some more quality in the forwards though.

I think the majority of the remaining signings will be props now, possibly a 13
