Based on previous projections (I won't use the word promises as I got pulled up on that once before), Doncaster RLFC should be close to Super League by now so the Championship should have been a given.

The only good thing to have happened in recent times is Channel Four's live coverage of Super League matches but that coverage needs to be more frequent for it to make a significant difference in raising the profile of the game.

C4's coverage of SL games has been quite an attractive / refreshing addition but as you say, not enough games are shown and in fact NONE are currently scheduled.
