| I've got the Dons in my blood and I can't stop going now even though there's part of me that's very angry with the club.
I very much feel they deserve to give the fans some concrete reasons why this season has been such a shambles. John Scarrow's comments in the last programme suggested we should stop speculating on what has gone wrong and look forward.
With respect, it's only the fans that should be speculating. He should know. And if he knows, out of courtesy, I feel he should tell us why this has been one of our worst seasons ever. Was there some master plan to tread water this year and it's back-fired?

| Apart from blind faith and/or wanting to watch ANY rugby, I can't see any reason to buy a season ticket from this shower.
Still, we are all different ... for my part I want performance not promises.
Unless we go adventurous on signings, I will walk away.
I suspect it will be anything but adventurous or involving spending money.
Small town bolloxs.

| S-O's post might upset some, but I have to admit (and I raised this at the last fans meeting with the Club) many are thinking the same way.
I have spoken to a number of Don's supporters in recent weeks who simply don't feel that they have had value for money this season or indeed that they have been valued by the Club.
With regard to paying £110 for a Season Ticket for next season at the early bird price, I'll have to give that some serious thought considering the fact that (officially), we have a Coach and a Hooker signed up for 2016 and who honestly knows what the rest of the squad will be like?

| Everyone has the right to their own opinion and spend their money as they ser fit, I wouldn't criticize people who don't want to go, up to them, but equally it's up to me what I do, don't think anyone has the right to Assume why I'm going.

| So no eye catching offer or deal to get the stay away fans back? no price drop from seeing the likes of leigh and bradford compared to south wales and coventry? good luck club doncaster and rip the dons.

| Quote ="scorer"How many games are included in the season ticket?'"
The programme didn't specifically say but it did add, "By taking advantage of the one day sale price (£110), you can save up to and in excess of £40 on match day tickets." The match day price is shown as £15.
There are presently 14 teams in Championship One. They are due to play 22 matches in their league season in total. They don't play each other at home and away. They played an additional League Cup competition at the start of the season. Swinton and North Wales got to the final. Those two clubs played an extra four fixtures.
Based on the same league set up next season, it would imply there will be 11 home games although there are rumours that Toulouse will be joining the league.
11 home games at £15 would cost £165. giving a saving of £45 if buying a season ticket at the Dewsbury game.
Will there be a League Cup comp next season? Will our season tickets allow us free entry?
Contrast next season to this season: There have been 14 home league games this season.
I seem to recall this season's season ticket costing £120 which works out at £8.57 per match.
If Toulouse join, it's likely there would be 12 games for £110 which works out at £9.17 per match. Without Toulouse, it's £10 per match for early bird season ticket purchasers.

| Think the club need to rethink the season ticket prices for next season after this years shambles ,at £130 you have more chance of seeing a Bikini modelling contest in the middle of Syria than getting new fans through the turnstyles.
I think to show some loyalty for the fans the club need to pitch them at £50-£60, or as well as training at Cantley Park they may as well play there.

| I think the club have missed a trick here. They have a large group of disgruntled fans who are losing interest. If they had come out with a good season ticket offer they could have kept these fans invested in the club.
Now they are going to have an up hill battle trying to convince these fans to attend and pay on the gate.
I won't be buying a season ticket for the first time in years and that probably means I won't be attending at all.
I used to wonder how die hard fans could stop coming all together. I've realised this season that once you have lost interest it's hard to get it back. This might just be me but I don't think losing matches is the only problem we have, the club has become soulless and unexciting.

Pretty much spot on with everything you say there PD.
I don't know what their thinking is, but its obviously not working.
In a previous post i said what they should have done to help keep people on-side.
But they must see these post but take Absolutley no notice of what the fans are saying.
They deserve everything they get next season, which will probably be an empty stadium.

| When I think about the Dons today, I flip between a range of emotions ... disbelief, apathy, sadness, anger, etc, etc
Today it is anger ...
It's like someone stole my rugby club ... like some fooking numpty has nicked my football and is giving me two fingers from over the playing field fence.
I'm thinking ... ''Who is that fooking numpty, what's he playing at?''
Lest we forget, we have lost 33 of our last 34 games.
Has anyone paid for this?
Well, only the guy who got us to 6th and 4th in consecutive seasons .... our talisman and coach Paul Cooke.
For what ever reason ... not backed/ed off/bored/disillusioned ... who knows.
But apart from that?
Nobody was to blame, it was just a simple miscalculation ... ''Come on fans be reasonable, we know we made mistakes and we are sorry!''
''We have got you a brand new shiny coach.''
''He's done next to nowt yet, but we have secured his services.''
''AND to show our intent we haven't signed Scotty yet, we want him to shop around first and leave if he wants to, but we have got Kesik for you, so be grateful at least!''
''We have slightly lowered out ticket prices even though we will be playing the likes of Hemel and Gloucester, but class players don't come cheap!''
''So the future looks rosy, you know it makes sense.''
Tickets, tickets ... roll up, roll up!''
Never has a club in recent times had such a fall from grace. This is' Another Bloody Sunday the sequel'.
But it is worse than the original ... WE are in league with a professional football club who expressed an INTENT to get us into Superleague but have done the opposite.
A far cry in comparison from the original 'Another Bloody Sunday' team's set-up.
I can see why I am angry.
Angry, when I see on TV Rob Worrincy (a BIG, STRONG, FAST winger playing for Sheffield) run in a hatrick.
Angry, when I think, why the hell isn't he and his like playing for the Dons.
Angry, when I think that we still settle for cast-offs and second-raters.
And ed off with our small town mentality.
I feel better now... have a nice day.
COYD ... and GMBMD (GIVE ME BACK MY DONS!)

| I know it's a different sport but the at the Knights you can watch Championship RU for a tenner, ok you're stood out on the open terrace but the ground does offer decent facilities under the stand etc. This makes £15 to watch Championship 1 RL look expensive.

It's worse than expensive ... it's taking the p/ss!
Adding insult to injury!
GMBMD
I'd want a Superleague type coach and players who are 'names' for that.

| Not backing P Cooke fully this season, has been the biggest mistake.
He could have and probably will be a good coach if backed properly.

There may be many, I'm certainly considering being one, who say £110 now or £130 when we've got a better idea of the calibre of the signings, do you know what, I'll risk £20 to see what happens but then still reserve the right not to spend the £130 at all if the product looks questionable.
As you have rightly suggested, it's then an uphill battle to get people to come and pay on the gate when they haven't committed to attend (by purchasing a season ticket).
Alternatively, people may simply take the view that they'll pay on the gate for the first 2 or 3 games and if they aren't happy with what's served up, they can walk away with no further cost incurred.

| for the first time in a very long time I wont be renewing mine, wife's or sons season ticket.
It's not about what is being saved etc, its about what has been served up since buying last years.
1 win, poor performances, no transparency, no idea what's happening ref investment etc. add into mix changing start times after purchased tickets to 2pm.
7 year old has lost interest as not seeing any wins, wife has attended about 4 games and i've missed a few but not many (because of start time)
i'm happy to write off a few games cost IF being served up a quality product - for the first time ever i'm just not going to follow blind faith, I bust a gut for my earnings and travel 45 mins every week to attend. That's my choice as is the one not to renew, I will play it by ear and if nothing improves then i'm better off in my pocket...

| £130 is daylight robbery and proves us fans are just cash cows, the prices wont encourage new fans and on top of that could lose 50+ current season ticket holders. Why not make it super cheap hence bigger crowds and more potential for revenue commercially? surely there's a few routes the club go down to raise the profile, The club have let the fans down massively but still want us to fork out good money to watch mediocre rugby well good luck with that. If carl or club doncaster continue to ignore the facts and what the fans are saying the side will be running out to 350 fans next season!

| I dont think the Chairman and CEO realise how much this season will effect the club going forward.
The season ticket price is scandalous for what is bacisly amateur rugby .
Speaking to Mr Scarrow after the last couple of games ,its the same old drivel, "NOT OUR FAULT ,UNDER ESTIMATED OPPOSITION ,BIGGEST BUDGET,HAVE TO LOOK AHEAD, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH ".
After all the Sh#te spouted at the beginning of the season I had high expectations for the coming campaign , with players looking to be full time
inside two years , and challenging for a place in Super League with-in four.
Most of the players are not Championship standard and look like they cant wait for the season to end , most will be winging their way to pastures new come the end of September back to amateur or Champ 1 clubs.
If Club Doncaster really want this project to work then we need to look at professional management in key positions,
and just as in any normal business if you don't perform you are held accountable and ultimately sacked.
Make the season tickets a reasonable price and the fans may still show some faith in a club that seems to be losing its credibility as a sporting venture in the town , otherwise I fear the worse.
