The Dons are definitely going to be without Richard Wilkinson for this first match. The official squad of 19 will have to be announced by the club by 3pm Friday. We don't seem to get much by way of injury updates from the club presently. Not sure whether Kes is likely to be fit. Has anyone got any news?

Hull are playing Warrington on Friday night. They'll have to declare their squad on Wednesday. We should get some clues as to which players may be available for us on DR.

According to the RL express Kes has a 50/50% chance of playing .

It is an initial squad donot think it is set in stone .

Could turn out to be a good fixture to start with, especially after we have lulled them into a false sense of security by losing all our friendlies, they are one of the favourites so are expected to win this game, pressure is on them. Here's hoping we turn up.

I feel we dont need to forwards or hooker as we have enough players in these areas. We could do with Michaels and Hadley and maybe a half back but do have players in these areas

You might have an outside chance of Rankin, as he can play 6.

Surprised Curtis Naughton (Full Back) hasn't been mentioned either.

If Kes isn't fit, we could do with Stuart Howarth at hooker.

Dean Hadley always added something to the team when he played for us last season.

Steve Michaels, Jordon Rankin and Curtis Naughton would certainly add some class to the backs.

These would be the five I would choose if given the option, as opposed to adding to the forward line - not saying that Bobby Tyson Wilson and Palaaesina aren't very good players, but our greater needs appear to be in other positions.

Naughton would be good addition it's just fitting him in somewhere

Would take all those bar Tyson (just don't see the hype at all) and Haworth, as for Hadley, Michaels and Feka hell yeah!!!!

Yes he is only 20 but great prospect.
Should be played off the bench for better effect.

Don't think you will see many of our under 19 players as Radford wants to keep them together to win their competition this season.
That said 17 year old Harry Tyson-Wilson would benefit greatly having a few games at Doncaster.

Michaels & Hadley called into Hull team due to injuries !

Squads are supposed to be published by now; I don't know what they mean by "published" though

Steve Michaels and Dean Hadley both made the team for Hull on Friday night.

Looks like we could be getting Paleaasina, Bobby Tyson-Wilson, Stuart Howarth plus possibly two others.

Possibly Jordan Rankin who is fit now and needs a run out.Probably play at 6
Our under 19,s played today so cant see anyone from there and Curtis Naughton needs another week according to Hulls coach after suffering concussion.
Don't rate Howarth but Bobby Tyson-Wilson and Feka are really effective off the bench.

Am I the only one who is well and truly p!!!sed off , ? . Just a few hours before the match and I/we have no idea about the team, who,s playing , who,s injured. Are they Donny players or Hull players representing the club nothing at all on the official site, what happened to naming the team 48hrs pre, match. Obviously as fans we dont need to know anything, untill next week when the club will want us to turn out in droves. Anyway hope whoever is playing in A DONNY shirt does well and we get a result. signed a very uninformed Dons Fan from far away. COYDs.

It may have been difficult for the Dons to finalise their squad considering the situation at Hull as they've been hit with some injuries but I agree that the communication between the club and fans has been poor this week.

I hope the Dons learn from this and announce their squad in the same way that Super League teams do. It starts to build up supporter enthusiasm for the game, which is what they should be trying to do.
