From what I've been able to work out Leaf has been offered a deal, but it depends on the RFL awarding him a testimonial year. Waller has been offered a deal, so that may be announced in the future, and Nicklas has just had his knee op, so may spend a lot of next season on the sidelines.

I'd be surprised if Sando didn't retire. Pretty sure he considered it before the start of the 2014 season.

| Not convinced with Welham - thought he dropped it a lot. Would like to see Wilson though - one of our few forwards capable of offloads and although got out muscled at times he is only 20.Also it was his first year playing against men, so much improvement to come I feel - I think he has a lot of potential and is precisely the type we should be signing with an eye on the future.

| I agree as earlier we could do with a couple more like Steve Snitch, think he's been brilliant for us this season but a few big forwards are needed to compete now as well

| Hodson and Cunningham left! Big loss but good luck to both players and if Liam stays clear of injury will make it big time. Class player. Not well pleased.

| Looks like the door is still open for Tom Hodson to come back according to Carl Hall on the Dons' website.
Liam didn't have the best of luck with injuries. I got the feeling he wasn't fast enough to be a centre and not robust enough for the second row. He always tried hard. I wish him well for the future.

| No one has left yet that I am massively surprised about, apart from maybe Castle. I can only remember Cunningham having one good game in the last couple of season, at home to Halifax. We can't afford to keep players on the books who spend too long on the side lines and don't do enough when fit.
I would however like to see these departures justified with ample replacements, particularly in the three quarters

| Have York got a coach? I saw Gary Thornton "parted company" (just before getting coach of the year) but not seen news of a replacement. Who is taking over? Do they have Doncaster connections. That's two signed from Doncaster already.
I understand that Tom's leaving was due to work commitments and finding it hard to get to training.

| James Ford is the new York boss - promoted from within after the sacking of Gary Thornton.
Mark Applegarth is the new assistant player coach. Mark played for John Kear at Batley last season. He also had a spell playing in Australia a couple of years ago.
