The Dons need four points from their last two games to be certain of finishing fourth.

If we slip up, Sheffield and Dewsbury will be hoping to take advantage.

Sheffield are away to Featherstone on Sunday, then away to Rochdale. Dewsbury are at home to Keighley and then away at Workington. Both Sheffield and Dewsbury are three points behind us, but both have much better points differences.

If our appeal against the three points we were deducted is upheld, it would mean we only need a bonus point from either of the two games to be sure of finishing fourth.

We may know the result of the appeal before Sunday's game.

The problem with reversing decisions is stubbornness gets in the way.
I would think a whole lot better about the RFL if they actually listened and showed some common sense.
I can't see that happening any time soon .......

For me, it's essential that both ourselves and Batley understand exactly where we stand before another game is played. Wonder if the RFL can do the right thing here?

If it's true that the Dons had concerns, checked with the RFL and were assured by a 'Senior Official' that the player could play, then the RFL must accept their part in this too.

Back to Sunday's fixture, it will be interesting to see how Halifax react to losing the '£250k match'. I know what I'm hoping for

The Doncaster Brewery Tap is on Young Street not far from the Olde Angel and Cask Corner (both on Cleveland Street).

I've only been in once so far as it has some unusual opening hours. When it first opened, it was only open 3 days per week, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday and had early closing hours, 9 or 10pm.

Perhaps another visit is due to see how things have moved on.

Do you still have to buy tickets from the office or is there a cash turnstile now ?

They had a cash turnstile for the Featherstone game. I don't think they've had a cash turnstile for any other matches.

DM , it is no secret I have a soft spot for Fax and some of their Fans , and will be cheering them on this Sunday , because I want Donny to finish 4 th in the League and get a trip to the LSV in the play-offs , giving us a chance to Avenge the Keepmoat game earlier in the season , im a BIG Keepmoat fan , love the place , hoping for a great game on Sunday , and hope to meet a few Donny fans as well as my Fax friends .

Not just the Keepmoat , I love Donny in General ,im a big Horse Racing fan as well ,and love Townmoor , we always used to stay in a Pub , near the old Market , it wasn't very wide , but seemed to go on and on in Length , do you know what it was called ?And is it still there ?

Think the pub you are on about Charlie is the Olde Castle in the market place and yes it is still open everyday.
