He's a fair old player.

Richard Whiting is one of my favourite players. I never thought we'd see him in a Dons shirt.

I'm totally confused by this Dual Reg business. I thought the theory behind Dual Reg was to help develop younger inexperienced players though?

It seems as though it's becoming a way of getting match practice for players returning from injury.

As long as everyone plays by the same rules, I don't have a major problem with it although personally I'd like to see Dual Reg limited to players who have played fewer than 20 Super League matches.

I am concerned as to what might happen towards the end of the season as relegation looms. Who might be turning out for the Dual Reg clubs to help them stay up?

To be fair to all clubs, this whole Dual Reg situation needs sorting and anyone having played more than 20 Super League games being deemed unavailable.

Needs must I think, we are short on numbers .
Do not think he has been injured just not getting a game he could play in a few positions !

To be honest, with the amount of injuries we've suffered in the backs in recent weeks, I'll welcome anyone to play..

Has it been confirmed anywhere.

This is not what dual reg was about in my view.
They need to start with reserve games again for super league players.

I feel incredibly sorry for Richard Wilkinson. Sherman had a really good game against Featherstone, and has impressed each time he has appeared. He is genuinely so excited when he plays, and it is great to see. It's that sort of pride and enthusiasm that helps to get results like the one at Featherstone.

I'll say one thing, not since Leafy was in his first few seasons with us, have I seen a player of that sort of build take on the line with such regularity. He's not the biggest of players, but he seems to be one of the braver ones.

i think he's an excellent prospect the more games the better for me.

If Paul didn't want to use the dual reg he wouldn't I'm sure if he doesn't play wilkinson he would have his reasons which if I'm honest I could understand him not being played. Certain aspects of his kicking game could have cost us both the barrow game and the fev one. I see potential in him but I just don't see that he's ready yet.

Sorry, don't really see the logic in that, work on the game of a player signed up to the Dons, or play an out of form player that is signed up to another club. So we help restore the confidence of a dual reg player, whilst potentially knock the confidence of our own player. Not for me.

Ultimately it comes down to winning games with strongest players out on the pitch. Paul will pick his best team based on that not complacency or loyalty.

Lets see where he is played before we start complaining about shoving out others. I agree it would be harsh to drop the Shermanator, maybe Miller will be on the bench

Maybe PC at loose forward and play both although not at the expense of Emmit who had a great game at Fev.

May be if we have signed him its because Danny Nicklas is not yet fit.

Love Wilko, but having more talent at half back is welcomed by me.
Let's face it if Paul got injured we would struggle.

On a slightly different note I have mixed feelings this week our son has played the last two for Doncaster but is back with FC this weekend. The mixed feelings are due to me and the better half having a cracking couple of days in the lake district and watching two very enjoyable games and to be honest if I wasn't working this weekend we would probably turn up at Dewsbury. Please try and take the positives out of dual reg as although its not perfect I believe the Dons can benefit far beyond a few players bolstering the team each week I'm sure both coach and players will be benefiting from thier counterparts at Fc. Good luck for the remainder of the season you never know we may see you again
