for me, dual reg needs to go. Season long deals for kids or even month loans, then theyre good. but this dual reg is ridiculous.

Agree Rob , but when did the loan deal with Huddersfield run out that enabled them to recall Matt Dawson.

Annoying as agreed with 100% of what TM said - so players have to execute, that said its easy sat here and at game picking fault, but playing through pain etc - hats off!!!!

As I understand it, we have had not intention of joining up with them next season anyway, regardless of what the DR rules are. Personally I think Agar has recalled the players at key times cause he has had his feelings hurt by little old us...bless him.

Have to agree with the anti Agar sentiment - personally I was incredibly angry at the disrespect shown to us by the Walshaw debacle. Also the recent weeks of throwing kids in seemed to be more of a "we don't have anything to play for anymore so **** you as opposed to meaningful player development (until they imploded of course). A few weeks ago illustrates my point - why take Kay if your gonna play him out of position?

Agar wouldn't know a good player if one smacked him in the mouth,He plays a kid from hull Reece Lynn every week,and names him as a rising star,Doncaster have benefited from his poor assessment of a player. Danny cowling and kaye alsoTrouty.so not all bad as far as the dons are concerned but him pick the dons side he cant pick his nose!

Last I heard Dual Reg was being reviewed with stricter guide lines . On other sites we are being linked with Hull FC for 2014.

James Elston has had his wings trimmed by the new chairman, now Chief Operating Officer.

Agar claims to not be trying to pick our but then goes on to say he was trying to push players on us who wouldn't be playing for 5-6 weeks (that is trying to pick our team, Richard) he also expresses disappointment that Miller was aiming for players like Cowling who would have a fairly steady run of games with us. Last I checked this is the idea behind dual reg - not to be so that we can be their reserve team, no matter how some other clubs have used it.

The more I read Agar's comments I can't help thinking "feeder club". Aren't partnerships a two-way thing? If we had used the "partnership" in the way Agar wanted what would we have got from it? Semi-fit players.

And you should see their forum, they're lapping it up like sycophantic lap cats, despite the fact his own article is self contradictory and therefore can't all be true. A complete lack of understanding from what DR is/was from most in SL is astounding

I did - I particularly like the part where they are all selectively blind to your post mentioning that we actually cancelled the agreement first

The clubs have to give six months notice informing the SL team they wish to terminate their dual registration agreement with them.
York have given notice to terminate there agreement with Hull FC & the Hull fans are tipping a dual registration agreement with the Dons for next season.

They're also saying Paul Cooke is going to be their U19's Head Coach too...
