Moorends-Thorne Marauders entertain Kippax Knights in the top of the RLC Yorkshire Premier division clash this coming Saturday on the Thorne Miners Welfare ground, Grange Road, Moorends, Kick-Off 2.30pm.
The Marauders will be looking to turn around at the halfway stage of the season in pole position, and a win against second placed Kippax would go along way into securing what has so far been a lot better season than they could have wished for after taking up their invitation with only 10 days preparation ahead of them.
So far this week the Marauders have added more experience to their squad with Gaz Munro, Chris Allen, Paul Hopkinson and Cliffton Richardson all joining the other 24 players training.
On Sunday the Marauders will be running in conjunction with the RFL/Service Area, a under 11’s tournament also at the same venue starting at 11am.
