WELL DONE IT looks like they went out and played tonight.Don't have sky so can only go on scoreline on sky score centre.They have cheered up some of us doubters after recent performances

They put some effort in...... simple as that.
And they spilled the ball a few times by just dropping in prior to a tackle.....weird.
And if they had been a bit cuter about Yere.....who got a hat-trick.... they might have won easier.
Donny did not make it easy for themselves.
Nevertheless it was an unexpected and heartening win.
Our forwards played well especially Castle.

Well my spell of whinging was rewarded by a power cut at 6.02pm and it came back on at 8.35pm. Thank goodness for mobile phones. Big well done to the lads tonight in winning and playing well I understand. And a big thanks for the running commentary I got from the Rossington branch.

Thought Sheffield were gonna win it towards the end, the decision near the end was the correct one IMO. The Eagles player did steal the ball, could of easily been given though.

Quality TEAM performance - where everyone stood up to be counted and when errors were made, heads didn't go down and support was there.

Doesn't usually get much of a mention but Bauer was outstanding here there and everywhere..

Really showed class when slowing game down and reading positions.

Started my weekend off well and really not overly worried at what score is against Widnes...

over the moon .still strongest in the 1st 20mins and the last 20,dropped off abit in the middle 40,but defence was a lot tighter.still 2 daft handling errors led to 2 of their tries but who is bothered WE BEAT THE SEAGULLS.COYDS.see you all monday night

We havent been far off for a few weeks. We still have some improvements to make, but that win will do wonders for confidence.

Just hope all the players came through injury free.

Maybe a few people on here should give the lads and coaching staff a chance to turn things around. Its a bit early in the season to be making harsh judgements.

Well done on tonight's win. Taking nothing away from your team's performance I thought that with the exception of Yere we were pretty poor tonight and lacking creativity. We looked most dangerous when throwing the ball about. Unfortunately that didn't happen very often. With a 22 : 23 scoreline it sounds like it should have been a belter of a game. It wasn't.......although I'm sure there are a few Donny fans who would disagree with me



Having seen the disallowed try on TV I think it should have stood. However I think that would have been rough justice and more than we deserved. As has been said before your lads put together a good team performance and thoroughly deserved the honours and bragging rights. I'm sure you'll all enjoy the weekend now and I will do my best toforget about this particular game and do the same. Happy Easter

And you can hardly formulate a view when you are not there.
You can just come on here and act superior.

You certainly weren't at the match in question....unlike a lot on here who posted how bad the performance was.....or was it just me?
