Anyone know why the kick-off is early?

Are the new owners Man Utd fans by any chance?

There was some talk of a family day - is that why (although don't know why it should matter)?

I was told so people can get home to watch Leeds v Manley . Kick Off 6pm.

Morning mate. If someone explains that it is so people can physically get from our game to the Leeds game I might take that as a valid reason. Otherwise I don't get it.

The game you refer to above is probably a 2pm kick-off for that very reason with it being in Leeds (it would hardly, to be fair, be about crowd congestion

).

Could it be so we all get there in time to buy tickets as the kick is really 3pm?

Or

As it is 1pm then i dare say we need to get to the ground for about 10am to be on safe side of not missing kick off...

If Swinton fans want to watch the Man U match i suggest bringing a portable TV that way when still queueing you won't miss any of the Man U game...



Finally when do we buy White T-shirts and write 'Coming Soon' on them similar to what Soccer am did - at least that way we are all wearing matching kits as fans

Remember you can get your tickets all week if you don;t fancy queueing on the day (I know that doesn't work for everyone)

Make sure you get to the ticket office before 4.30 on a Wednesday or it will have closed any later!
It's a 40 minute journey for me to the ground and I rarely visit Donny other than match days.
I have had a season ticket for the last few years but due personal reasons will unfortunately have to miss more than a couple of games this season.

Yes we are playing earlier than usual for the Manly v Leeds game. We want fans to join the players in viewing it at the Reds Bar- Silver Street. Reds Bar are the match sponsors for the day and Paul Marshall, the owner, (No relation to Dave Marshall) has really done alot for the club this year and will continue to do so.
You can buy tickets for the Swinton match via the phone or the web (ticket office) if you can't make it down to the Stadium on time. It might be worth doing as Car Boot is on this Sunday at the Keepmoat and can get quite busy!!
