On a related note, I'd told my kids last week that if England got to the World Cup final that they should watch it so when they're older they can tell their grand kids that they saw it happen. Last night the 7 year old said "Daddy, at least I can tell my grand kids I was there when the Dons got their biggest ever score"

A feature of the game yesterday was it was that quiet you could hear the stuff the players came out with ... most notable Richard Owen's rather loud swear word instruction in the second half .... which raised an 'oooh!'

Was watching Mariano and Tali at some of the restarts.
Mariano is a talker, Tali not so much.
Mariano standing up on the left near the halfway line, Tali too far back on left nearer is own try line.

Tali ... nothing and no response.

The ball hoisted in Tali's direction. Because he has that gap to make up he rushes and spills the ball forward off his chest.

Tali ... no response ... gap still there.
Ball hoisted into the same gap again.
Mariano concerned this time to cover for Tali's not talking to him attempts to get the ball himself. Tali also sets off.
I am expecting the mother and father of a collision and Tali just gathers the ball ahead of the rushing and calling Mariano.

Next restart .....
Mariano ...'Jason move up.'
Tali no response again ... the gap remains.

The kicker this time grubbers his kick and perfectly bisects Mariano and Tali.

Tali didn't have a good game by his standards. You wouldn't have thought in a game we scored 18 tries that he would have got none!

Was impressed with Mariano yesterday . I know it was only WW.

What's happened to Jack Miller, is he injured or just out of favour?

I was also impressed with Mariano. What pleased me most though was how intelligently we used our interchange. Muranka was used very effectively. Litten the same. I'm a little confused as to what happened with Beharrell?

Heard Beharrell tell someone in the stand that he felt a slight twinge in his hamstring so came off as a precaution.

May I thank those Doncaster supporters for their very sporting applause for West Wales Raiders players as they left the field at the end.

The mother of Ritchie Owen for her generosity of spirit - and good news in relation to her son.

Wish you well for the remainder of the campaign and if you should remain in League 1,a far more competitive game home and away in 2019.

If the rumours are true regarding Jack Miller, then good luck to him where ever he ends up.

I don't feel he was given a fair crack of the whip under RH , playing hokey cokey rugby with one game in, one game out, is no good for any ones confidence, especially a half.

Not surprised miller has been released, looked promising when we first signed him but ultimately he’s not good enough for this level.

So did I and I hoped he would kick on but in the Bradford home game he was sadly lacking. He publicly apologised for that game and I was hoping he would come good. It appears RH thought differently. End of story, hope it works out for him.

I did, I think he had a natural raw talent and needed game time. He wasn't getting it so wasn't improving. Also as said, his game against Bradford was a massive blow to him.

We have certainly missed his kicking
