| Quote ="Tatty Feeld"Not long ago Miloudi was a villain, now it seems he's the best thing since sliced bread, how times change.Horne's judgement has to be questioned as to why Miloudi wasn't named at stand off in the first place, especially considering his performance in Toronto. GM poses a good question though about signing him on a permanent deal, after all the money should still be available that was set aside for those PNG props.Allegedly.'"
The first 20 minutes of most games are when teams are toiling it out down the middle. Saving Miloudi until there are a few tired legs around is the best way to go. Remember how Rob Burrow used to be dynamite when he came off the bench for Leeds? That was Hakim Miloudi today.
Personally, I don't see Hull wanting to release him anytime soon. They''ve got Jordon Abdul as first cover in the halves but what happens if Jamie Shaul gets injured? Sadly, we'll probably have to settle for having him on DR/Loan but he should certainly help get a few more bums on seats if he keeps playing as well as he's done today.

| Can't the fault the way we played today and some of the set up plays which resulted in tries looked very good, think today proves that at any level if your willing to bust a lung and support the ball carrier tries will come, the only negative is were not gonna be playing sides like Coventry every week and without be harsh I thought they were really poor but to put 70pts on any team is an achievement and I was happy with the energy and commitment we showed today, great performances from charlie and tali (as always) thought hedges showed up well but miloudi when he's on his game he's in another league and if he can be consistent and cut out his petulance he can go as far as he wants. Whilst I'm on a roll I thought the tribute to don today was first class and well observed by all

My question mark surrounding hakim has never been about ability it's obvious when he's firing and in a good place mentally special things will happen and today was a going day for him but what's saying the next game if things are going against him he won't throw a punch, sulk, or even spit? like all gifted sportsmen when he's good he's good but when things aren't going well he could be a liability, I'm more than happy to give him a go and believe everybody deserves another crack (lets hope carl and rh can get his head straight and he can fufill his potential).

| If ... ifs and buts were pots and pans there'd be no work for tinkers' hands.
As for Miloudi... Miller is injured and the game has changed in Miloudi's favour.
Why people think they can second guess what Hull will do makes me wonder.
The crowd was almost 700 yet the interest is less than if we had lost.
Nothing to say?

Couple of the dummies Miloudi pulled off today were absolutely ridiculous. Thought there was still stuff to be learnt from todays performance, I know some of the lads weren't happy with their efforts, which, to say we ran in as many as we did in the 2nd half, is something.
Defensively, there is still stuff to pick up and improve on, again, I'm sure this will be worked on, but, this is the sort of match under previous coaches, we may have stuggled to break through with our style of play.
If we can keep this style all season, we're going to score a lot. Especially if we can keep Miloudi.
As for the Don tribute, it was tasteful and well done.

| Maloudi has a instinctive style of play that is entertaining to say the very least. He will kop some flack when it goes wrong but I'm happy to watch a bloke who is not predictable and has that knack of getting you out your seat to applaud him.
To many stop starts from the ref for us to get into full flow IMO but there is a team out there of that there is no doubt. Next two games will be helpful for our structure before the first proper test against Haven.
The tribute to Don Brooks was excellent and he would have loved some of todays tries.
PS
Brian, apologies for the name slip up

I'ts good to see you having a go at me again although it as been a while.Still the garbage you come out with is worth a laugh, it was Coventry on the end of the score not a top team and the Dons didn't pull away until Miloudi came on.You should also consider that Richard Owen is reported as not pulling any trees up yet but Harris who was brilliant for York at full back against the Dons last season is being played out of position at scrum half.Is that astounding too? Get back in the pram where you belong.

| A good performance today , Harris looked sharp and at times Miloudi looked unplayable ,the forwards dominated and we played good expansive rugby.
I know people will say "well its only Coventry" but you still have to go out and beat them, which we did well
My only concern was the number of penalties we are conceding , as against the better sides it will cost us dear.

| That was a good way to blow out the cob webs, thought after the preseason we looked to have more attacking options and again scored tries from a variety of places. Miloudi obviously shone, he literally scored twice as many tries as he passed the ball. Harris looked better and Tali is looking good.
The game swung on two moments for me. When Spiers came on here got through the line the first three times and we got tries from 2 of them. The Miloudi interception try killed Coventry, they'd just put a big defensive set in only to cough that up when they got the ball.

| Yes ... Bomber Harris was good this week, Hedges took the ball well, Martin was brilliant as was England and so on through the side.
Very good with passing rugby.
Gonna go back to the forward thing though.
Gonna give you my quote from the game ..."Who says we have no forwards? Because we do!" .......very long pause "We have one ..Spiers!"
A quote from the Whithaven coach ..."We took on the big Oldham pack down the middle and that was never going to work!"
Think on Carl and Richard.

| The crowd at York was 4221 .. yes thanks in large part to Bradford fans.
Season tickets aside they must have trousered £30,000 extra over us on Sunday.
That's Miloudi money is that ... before we play Bradford and benefit ourselves they could swoop ... or Bradford could.
One or two special props and Miloudi and we could get promoted.
I will be hanging this like the sword of Damacles over Carl's head should we lose out.
Thus far ... how long ago since we were entertained like that yesterday.
Promotion or not we will see some fantastic rugby from the Dons in 2018.
Loving It!
PS I had to double check that Ryan Boyle played yesterday ... need I say more?

Yes, you can.
Thought Boyle did everything that was required of him yesterday, put the hits in, put the yards in on the carry when required. Just because he didn't drop his shoulder and go past a few, like Russ Spiers, or go on a 40 yard run to set up a try, like Connor, doesn't make him any less. He provided leadership around the field, and thats a lot of why he was brought in.
Oh, and the highlights are being reuploaded.

Thanks for the highlights, Donny - much appreciated.
I thought Ryan Boyle tackled very well. He shot out of the line a few times when he saw a play coming to stop the danger before it started.

They do but judging by the fans comments on their forum when he's played they don't see him really competing with Shaul
Also if they were willing to sell Nick Rawsthorne after putting in a year of developing him and him having a few 1st team appearances then why not?

Good point and i believe miloudi would be worth more of a transfer fee but on the flip side we wouldnt want to pay a fee and have him banned or injured as he becomes more of a target to opposite teams
