| Good to see Howden play the full 80 minutes. Not a bad match to get back into the swing of things.
Pleased to see last week's form & attitude again this week. Haven't been a fan of Jordie Hedges in the past but he's really upped his game and looks to have found a more suitable berth at loose forward. Put a great shift in again today.
The next home match v Whitehaven will be a good test but confidence should be sky high at the moment.
Cut out the daft penalties, practice receiving kick offs and we should be ok.
COYD!!

| I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of the build up to those second half tries again as highlights if possible because tbh with the sun I could barely see most of them.
Harris was pure magic for me today don't think I saw him make an error with his pass selection all game, just about everytime he passed he put someone through a hole.
As has been stated we need to work on kick offs and also getting Bower back in position asap after coming in for a tackle as that is twice in 2 weeks that a gap has appeared due to that. Do think overall he is another who is playing great though.
Thought Howden started shaky but grew into it as the game went on, Hedges is starting to look pure Quality at loose forward and as always Martin and Tali were exceptional.

We've beat 2 teams who would struggle to beat my son's under 12 side so yeah let's go over the top about things! my recent posts have included me saying were only 2/3 players away from challenging for the top spot, some of our tries and set up plays against Coventry were top notch and martin and tali are the best centre/wing combination in this league but hey don't let your blinkered view get in the way of things.

| 388 crowd is a kick in the teeth for a good Dons side.
A bit of cold and having to pay at the gate plus apathy towards the Challenge Cup is no excuse.
What more can the Dons do?
Carl must be gob-smacked.

It's hard to know what else to do. We can only hope that more people become "regulars" if we can keep playing enterprising rugby, and keep winning. It pains me to say it but I do have concerns that we're forever going to find it tough to build up a fan base as the good people of Doncaster don't seem particularly attracted to watching live sport generally. For a town the size of Doncaster, the Rovers also get very moderate crowds.
As a club, and as fans, collectively we've got to keep trying to get others to join us.

| dear mr "hot air" I dont consider myself or my views "blinkered" at all more glass half full and having a positive out look on our present situation yes we all want a better team and to win every game but in the real world you play the cards in your hand. I know we have,nt beaten anyone of class yet but neither have we been been beaten heavily either, we played well against batley and london the big hurdle is coming on 11th march lets see how good we are then,,,, COYDS

It maybe be a good idea for the to club to try and contact some of the missing 399 fans who attended the previous home game against Coventry & ask them why they didn't attend the game against Myton.

| I think expecting the same figure as the Coventry game for Sunday's game was a tad optimistic, we have to be realistic enough to know that if there's going to be improvements with the crowd it ain't going to be on a huge scale, I don't know the attendance for last year's game against myton but I'd be surprised if it was higher than sundays, maybe the weather and the opposition were factors in that number so don't think you can read too much into it, I think if we see no more than 700 at the Whitehaven game then that would be disappointing.

That's not a bad idea, Geoff, but most people paid on the gate so the club won't actually know which season ticket holders were missing.

I see what you're saying Hally. I suppose I had 500 in mind as the number I expected at the Myton game but it was an awful day weather-wise. The Whitehaven game will be a better measure. The most interesting stat would be the Coventry attendance compared to the Whitehaven attendance without season ticket sales included.
The key to seeing whether we're building the fan base can be best monitored from these numbers but saying that, with pay on the gate, you never know how many away fans are included in the totals.

| After four good run outs ,and with a trip to the back of beyond to come on Sunday , I hope the fans back the club and turn up in numbers against Haven.
This game will give us a reasonable idea where we stand with regards to promotion, as we all envisage a much tougher test than previous weeks.
Good performances against higher opposition and two drubbings of lesser ones, give me confidence that we can at last live up to Carl's hype and be serious title challengers.
I still think that Hull's injuries will have a barring on our season, but lets hope we can do a number on Whitehaven and send a message that we can match the likes of Bradford , York and Workington

It would seem that the season-long loans aren't now in place and that we will receive players under dual-registration, Hakim Miloudi being an example.

It might be worth asking Tonto to speak to the Loan Arranger.

| So we have a squad of twenty players ... hardly the big squad previously touted.
A cracking coupling with Hull again.

| Which means it is foolish to hope for the cup run Horne et al keep asking for - we could well have to forfeit a game which would be an embarrassment to say the least. And we all thought it was ridiculous when Leigh said the same about the friendly...
