An analysis of recent results would indicate we are in a false position.....and as I have previously stated we should go to Oldham (leaders or not) and surprise them.

We can beat anybody in this division on the right day......which is not the same as being the best side....which we are clearly not.

But a bit more belief coupled with zero tolerance on giving away needless penalties and we could beat Oldham.

We have to think that we can achieve a couple of surprises....because quite frankly that is the only way we will get enough points to finish in the play-off places. That would give the season some purpose...some goal. Some people are happy with us just surviving as a club.....but we are better than that.

I have walked out on some recent games (Oldham and Hunslet) because I don't think we had a fair crack of the whip and certainly nothing that Donny have done (apart from a talent for stupid penalties).

You are a very dogged and determined side and really impressed me the way you stuck with us at the Keepmoat.

There is no reason why you shouldn't go to the new Oldham ground and give them a real game. Its got a nasty slope but if you can play that then you'll stand a real chance. Also its wide - I was amazed how we used the width to such great effect.

Get amongst them, be aggresive - like you did with us , and stick in there and eventually they will crack.

Be aware - make sure you have a good Tomtom or you'll never find the ground and get there early as there is congestion around the car park . Its a nice little set up and for Oldham its their new home so respect it and join in the crack - you can hear every comment and it makes for good fun!!

Went there today to watch Oldham reserves v Sheffield. Bit of a culture shock very basic facilites,narrow sloping pitch. The bar hasnt a full licence yet so cans at £2. At least its a home base for them and no doubt things will improve,good luck to them

up to the lads today, another good display against a top team in our division and one that we could have won, and to come away from Oldhams so called stadium and get beat by 10 points, made the journey a worthy one.
