I couldn't make the game Saturday but by the sound of things it looks like we dodged a bullet.

Fair play to Thornhill , looks like they dominated the middles while our disciple was once again an issue.

That said were in the bag and hopefully a better performance next week.

Were we bad or were they good ?

I know for the amateur teams its like their Wembley and they will be up for the fight, but surely with the side we had out we should have won easier than that .
The bookies had us to win by around 40 points ,so to scrape though with the last roll of the dice is concerning for the coming season.

They were good.

We seemed to get frustrated , with the referee and with the fact we could not impose ourselves on Thornhill .

There was no lack of effort & in the end we won .

I just noticed , A Sweet was the referee, the worst official in the comp by far never gives us anything , the guy is a joke .

Yes i thought he was poor. Having said that one our players had a warning for dissent then got sin binned .

Hopefully Matty and Ragi back for next week and a convincing victory.
