With regard injuries we have 23 players , reading various reports we have 15 players who haven't got knocks or injured.

Waller def out , Kesik & Cunningham rumoured out , Welham , Castle , Nicklas , Starling & Spiers inj/knocks .

I donot believe every thing I read , lets see at about 2.50 pm

Doncaster 22 v Fev 16 ,what a great defensive performance from 1-17. Fev had a lot of the ball but when we had it we made it count !

A good turn out from the Fev fans in the crowd of 1317.

We had Waller , Cas , Kesik , Starling , Nicklas & Cunningham out injured the 2 Hull lads Kent & Pitts did well , Dave Scott was outstanding but so did the other 16.

They say that defence wins games and it certainly did today.

Handled everything that Fev threw at us and then took our chances up the other end. Even their 14th man couldnt make the difference. Ironically there were calls in to Radio Leeds on the way home complaining about the refs performance!! John Bastian said we deserved to win in the after match interview.

Great stuff from all of the lads today.Keep up the good work.

Well played today by the dons, not a dropped ball in site, excellent defence, some good offence with a mixture of set plays and off the cuff stuff. Also we battled through some awful officiating that left us looking dead on our feet a long way from the end but most pleasing for me was that we didn't struggle fielding kick offs this week. I was originally going to give special mention to certain dons players but soon realised I'd be naming most of the team. Any other week and MOTM could have gone to any one of about 6 players but today it was deservedly Dave Scott, showing Fev the howler they made when they let him go.

Shaun Leaf put a big tackling stint in today !

That result has made the Father in laws day. Out of action at present with a 'complicated' hip replacement. Its been a month now but when I rang him he really did sound like his old self. Hope to back at the Keepmoat in the Summer proper, but from both of us well done to the lads today, very good result

Agreed he was one of the many who impressed for me, another day and he could have been MOTM but Scotty was outstanding. Hope Wilkinson's small amount of minutes isn't indicative of anything as I liked the look of him tbh.

He's 8 days old.

Well done to the lads today. When Fev went in front they showed great character because we were definitely on the back foot at that point.

Shaun Leaf's tackling was awesome. Scotty looked very good and must have enjoyed beating his ex-employer.

Lee put in a good shift and really gets in the faces of the opponents. Mike Kelly continues to impress me.

I could go on to mention everyone really because it was an excellent team performance.

That Kent chap (is it Clark?) had a very good game with Jay Pitts chipping in nicely too. Nev Morrison had a few decent weaving runs too. His confidence seems to be growing.

Wilkinson looked sharp

and he seems to have a good future ahead of him.

I must mention PC too because we do seem to overlook him a lot and take what he does for granted. He had a cracking game and was inspirational.

And we did it with several of our regulars out too.

Well done to everyone at the club.

PS. I invited a Leeds Rhino's season ticket holder over from Leeds for today's game. He really enjoyed it and is going to try to get over to watch some more games this season. Let's hope that on the back of this good win a few more Doncaster people might do the same.

i also invited a friend to the match and he thoroughly enjoyed it and will be coming back when work allows him to.

On Paul Cooke we do take him for granted and i think he's getting better and better this season.
he could have been man of the match today as well.
but the whole team deserved that accolade

no gripes from me, well deserved in the end, I thought once we got in front we wouldn't look back...but you stuck at it....cooke marshalled the players throughout....well done from a fev fan who lives in donny

Paul never gets as much credit as he should . He is doing a great job on a limited budget & the players play for him !
