With all our injury problems I never thought we'd get another win but we played it really well tonight

Sean Briscoe has been great, Tom Briscoe has had a mare

We simply out muscled em tonight and forced a lot of errors. For some reason they just couldn't handle us which is weird considering how many we have missing. Plus we made a large amount of errors ourselves.

A great performance from the lads.



I thought we'd struggle tonight but we definitely outplayed Hull.

Lets hope we can still avoid the wooden spoon!

That was certainly a game of two Briscoes. Very enjoyable. A bit more composure at times and it could have been 50+.

Cannot argue with that. Terrific performance. Belief, skill, confidence, determination. I am so happy with the way we are playing.

Thankyou mate i know your team played badly but Widnes did play well.Difficult to beat at home and some of our youngsters like Craven and Gerrard have improved alot.I was worried with Briscoe and Kavanagh just back to playing.Then with Ah Van,Dean,Pickgersgill,Mellor,Cross and O Carroll missing i was worried.

Briscoe is getting his nose sorted. He said he is waiting until he stops playing which makes sense the way he sticks his head in.

I can see Widnes finishing above Cas. We won't win another game this season..fact and Widnes are likely to win at least one, its dreadful when you think how close we came to it last year

I hope you're right but never say never. With our front row shot to pieces I was sure we wouldn't win anymore this season but last night told me different!

im unsure about both of these to be honest. I can't see cas winning but this sport is a very strange one. However widnes now have 2 very difficult games. Wakefield away will be a massive test and our away form is shockingly bad. However i have a feeling the wire game at home will be another massive test, However i have a feeling it will be a saints / catalan sort of game. It will be close, however decisions will be the key.

It really doesnt matter now wether we finish bottom or not now. Yeah it would be great not to get the wooden spoon,but we have won six games loads of people didnt give us a chance of winning one. We are now starting to give most of the sides a game. And at the end of day thats all that matters. Up the chemics. Best wishes etc...

We've actually played miles better than that and lost games this season as well.

Having watched it back, certainly this is the case. Some days things just come off for you. Winterstein's try is still one of the best we've scored though.

Yeah it was a weird game to watch. Both sides dropped a tonne of ball in daft places but when Hull did it you seemed to punish them whereas they just... dropped it!

It was one of the highest error rates in a SL match ever. And Giants v Bulls wasn't far behind.

I hope we don't get over-confident from this win, because all the talk from the Vikings is about a great performance.

In some respects, yes okay, but the amount of ball we gifted FC would usually be punished. Thankfully we defended well and Hull gifted us even more possession back.
