I think you've made a mistake as you've included Ah Van. The bloke should be renamed 'turnstile.' He let everything past him on Saturday. Simply awful player.

I think bit harsh really Ah van been one of our better performers to be fair think he was never going to get better of joel M , unlucky slip to get ball dead on joels first try and sheer size of the man for the kick to the corner not many super league players would have took that in all fairness!Ive been critical but think Pats been better than expected so ill diffend him in this one

It was also pretty obvious Ah van was carrying a knock, which he very quickly aggravated. i doubt he would have played if we had more bodies available, nor had to remain on the field as long as he did.

He'll play stand off us unless we have a better stand off coming in, which seems unlikely. He would be wasted at loose forward.

Centre is his best position but he got moved to SO from there and now to LF !!

So why were Wigan interested in signing him if he's not fast enough for a 6 and not big enough for a 13? Kevin Brown is exactly the type of player Widnes need at this moment in time. Just because he rejected Wigan he's not a big signing/good enough.

Wigan fans couldn't understand why the club were after him for the reasons I stated.
The only reason perhaps is that the coaching staff at Wigan have a very good record of improving players ie McIlorum, Goulding, Charnley, Hock, Prescott, Mossop, Hansen etc.
That's something your coaching staff need to get to work on!

sad to see him leave the giants, top player and was fitting into his new loose forward role nicely.

on the plus side i can see us making a big signing for next season, got some space in the salary cap now.
