As entertaining as it was.... what an awful game... I've seen Under-12s defend better but fair play Widnes you overcame Halifax Benny Hill Rugby League to get the win.

Ive been saying this since the game but repeatedly got shot down so nice to have a neutral say the same. Sometimes you have high scoring games where the defences arnt truly awful but that was just terrible. Any team in this league would have beaten either team on that showing. I fear for the Bradford game.

Just a joke (?) its pretty plain to see the defence of both teams was woeful! As a Widnes fan I can see how individual skill can score tries yet a lack of cohesion between a new team formation left huge defensive holes.

I have to agree. I think the Fax team of the last two seasons would have put 70 on you. We are so far removed from that team it is unbelievable but still managed to get a bonus point. I guess that says a lot for both teams. Im still in shock I`anson took the drop goal giving us chance to get the ball back instea of a grubber in to the ingoal. There were some bad decisions in the game but that was one of the worst.

Not sure what im thinking i have won. Watching the team that ive supported home and away for nearly 30 years play like that? Ive seen the good and the bad in that time and in my honest opinion that was up there with the worst i have seen. I disagree about 70, but i think your team last year is not quite as good as Leighs team.They beat us by 40 points not 70.
