Think he's got over past injury problems, or am I confusing him with someone else? Either way, he had a pretty good 2010 I think. He's definately worth looking at by Cullen and Betts, before another SL club or Barrow snap him up.

He was indeed. Top player on his day but saw the red mist far too often as I'm sure you Smogs will remember from 2006 when he nutted Hulse and got sent off. He seemed to calm down a bit at Wakey and was mentioned as a potential England prop but I'm not sure how much of an effect his Crohn's will have on his career, even if he does sign for Crusaders as rumoured.

My wife & sister-in-law both suffer with Crohns Disease....at its very worst it can be severely debilitating, sometimes requiring surgery (both my wife & sister-in-law have had 2 operations each).

I worked with someone who suffered from it as well and like most things it obviously depends on the severity of it - what I meant was that I don't know how badly Moore is suffering from it at the time being.

Who knows, but he had arguably his best season ever after his original diagnosis last year.

My wife is back in hospital today after suffering another crohns episode...Its not a nice illness at all and makes you move about like 90 year old.

My wife is still in hospital yet, and won't be coming home til wednesday at the earliest...but she is feeling abit better tonight, so hopefully, she'll be coming home then (fingers crossed).

I echo this. There's never a good time for things like this to happen but Christmas must be the worst. Best wishes.

yeah, it certainly isn't the best time of the year for it to happen, especially as my wife still has xmas presents to buy (including mine lol

), but to be honest the best xmas present I could possibly receive is to have my wife home & in good health.

I now have my fingers crossed for two young ladies, as I had a phone call about an hour ago telling me that my niece has been taken to hospital in a diabetic coma.

Jeez, you don't want any of this at any time of year but just before christmas is a bit rough mate. Hope she pulls through and is right as rain for chrimbo.......and forever after.

She is out of the coma now, but still quite poorly. The strange thing is that she wasn’t even diagnosed as being diabetic beforehand.

My wife is still in hospital (been in exactly a week now), hoping to bring her home on monday, once the docs are happy enough with her progress.
She's fine now...just getting very, very bored!

She came home today. She is now officially a diabetic and has to go about all the things diabetics have to go about.
