I am overjoyed !!! 7 years of watching lower league Rugby League (enjoyable as most of it has been) has finally culminated in the top prize. For those volunteers and small financial backers who keep us afloat - well done and congratulations. Many Fax fans question - "What's the point anymore" ? Well, a day like today makes it all worth while. You lot must have felt that with your NRC Final win - it's such a buzzing feeling. What a wonderful game we watch. Today has reminded me why i love Rugby League !!!

I tell you what though rich, that saxton is a bugger to get down isn't he, aizue also showed his class today.

Saxton was awsome. He broke tackles EVERYTIME he took the ball up. Hull fans though refer to him as "Knock-on Tommy" and some today are saying how bad the Championship must be when a guy like Saxton can look so good. I guess you could say the same about Holroyd. Mind you, clubs down here don't get a million a year off Sky to p*** away on top grade players.

Vikingman i know Gary High is a Wheelbarrow fan i just think it is sad he has to mention Widnes.

Some of the fans in this division really need to reflect on yesterday's game and get a reality check.

For all their moaning about how pointless the Championship is, how they 'languish in this rotting division with no chance of promotion', yesterday's game showed exactly how much quality and excitement there is in the Champioship.

Imagine what the game would have been like if those 34 players who played yesterday shared that attitude.....

The constant derogatory wheelbarrow & Envelope comments from Widnes fans aren't sad and boring then ?

TBH it is all just hearsay. If you were to believe everybody then Brian Noble would have been coach last season and Barrow would have been £500,000 over the salary cap. Nothing ever actually comes from the horses mouth does it ?
