That squad's actually not as amateur as the papers have been making out. In fact far from it, they could do very well this year.

it would appear they are playing by different rules than the rest.
but at the moment at least they are still a team made up of brits which is still a good thing.

I think he may be referring to the fact that the Scorpions seem to be allowed 4 dual-Reg and 3 loan players, whereas other clubs are restricted just 4 over-all, and not the amount of Aussies they have.

there are 3 on loan for 1 month who are recovering from injury. of the whole squad put out against workington only 1 Loz is not welsh qualified.

And in fairness Loz hardly set the world alight. James played well, as did another big lad of theirs but they all had squad numbers that didnt correspond with the program so its going to take me a few games to get used to the players names. Hopefully they get promoted and I can drive down the road to watch the lads as rather than a 400 mile, 8 hour round trip over a few big hills my car dosent really like!
