Standard statement, I doubt/hope it Cullen's statements aren't related to us in any way.

Typical though isn't it - the story should all be about Newton and the RFL's drug policy - instead we as a club have felt the need to come out and explain itself. Some people have said PC should have kept his mouth shut, but why can't he raise issues? and also why have the club felt the need to come out and say we're 100% behind the RFL?

I can sort of understand why the club have issued the statement but looks almost like we're bumming up to the RFL. PC's comments were made on Boots n'All where his work has nothing to do with his role at the club. It appears we're that scared of upsetting the RFL that its like we're treading on eggshells.




I don't think we'd want a owner like Des Johnston but I just hope the next 15 months doesn't decend into a kiss ass fest.

The RFL should have a bit of spine instead of putting their 'spin doctors' out there to paint a rosy picture of how well their policy is working and how only a fraction of tests are positive.

Why would Cullen come out and say such a thing if he didn't believe it himself??

Once again the RFLiars prove that you have have to tow the party line and woe betide anyone who steps out of it.

The RFL or any governing sport body have never allowed freedom of speech.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that certain players are on PED's. Cullen has simply been the first person to open his mouth about it fair play to him. Again for me this simply shows the lack of control the RFL have on the game when they have to ask "Please Tell Me Who". They should have just gone out and tested everyone!! Instead of embarrassing themselves ever more, unfortunately certain clubs would have very few players left after it. The RFL are there to govern so why don’t they stop worrying about franchises and stupid expansion and get rid of the cheats!!

Pretty atrong backing there for sure! And tbh kinds of puts the RFL in there place as they clearly overeacted without speaking to Cullen first... typically unprofessional really!
