Leigh are exmept from that as they have already signed the players so will operate at nearly a championship cap. Duffy will be announced this Tuesday as a Leigh player or so the rumours go.
They will walk championship 1 but i cant see them winning the NRC.
Too many good teams in the championship to let that happen.

When teams are relegated from superleague all contracts are void. Does the same not apply to the Championship leagues?

Surely they can't be exempt on players they signed knowing off the threat of relegation? And not even 'officially' announced yet? |

Why would they be void? Surely this would only be if they had a get out clause in the contract to say if they are relegated the player is free to leave? |
