fair play you played very well in the match. we came back in the second half but i still cant beleive how ben black managed to drop the ball when trhough on the try line that would have probably have been the game as well.

we dropped far to much of the ball, see you in the play offs and now i hope you beat barrow in the final.

Well done Vikings, apart from the result for my boys, now don't take Barrow lightly or you could come unstuck.

I think the games against the Vikings have been great, good atmosphere good crowd.

Good luck for the rest of the season, let's hope we play each other in the Grand Final. Just to give SL a scare.

Without sounding tooooo bitter, just hope & pray Ronnie Laughton is the ref for the final, he had a howler today. Thackeray was inches short of the line in being awarded your 1st try today. Laughton was awful, you took your chances we didn't, that's the name of the game.

laughton was awful for both teams. i was on edge at the end i thought someone had kidnapped the timekeeper.

Timekeeping is done by one person from each club you fool.

Could have gone either way and the chances bombed (by both sides) just emphasised what was at stake.

Ronnie is an embarrassment I'm afraid. But you have a good team and we will meet again. Meantime, I'd get your coach to shut up. Saying things like "we are head and shoulders above the rest" just gees up the opposition more. Plain daft.

A very strange comment

I know you're trying to make yourself feel better by stating this but it isn't true. Dodd knocked on with the line begging and Hall knocked on over the line. If we'd scored those tries then Black keeping hold of the ball may have resulted in a mere consolation try for yourselves.

Good luck to Widnes in the final. Gutted we lost but I thought you played really well and it was without doubt your best performance against us this season. There's some great people at the club and Terry O'Connor and Steve O'Connor were very complimentary about Halifax after the game.

It was just a shame that it couldn't have been the final as it would have been fantastic for the two sides to meet in Blackpool. I will still attend the game and will be the one with the green face and huge bottom lip hanging out.
