heres my plan of widnes' cup route
beat halifax away first
we then my and defeat the winners of Swinton v Rochdale in the 5th round
then beat another championship side in the quaters
then batter celtic crusaders in semis (because lets face it they need it)
and before u know it we are going to wembley

must admit, felt a bit mixed when i seen the draw. will be a tough game

I think it's a cracking draw and our match will be up there with the rest of them for excitement and entertainment - two best teams outside Super League. Bring it on !!

Think you should read the quote again my friend (give you a clue 'ooooh hali hali, hali hali hali hali halifax' is not a Widnes chant). Fax put 40 points put on you (while playing in second gear) so if that is being outplayed I think most of us misunderstand the rules of the game (ie who scores most wins).

Maybe he is right, maybe they did outplay and out muscle us. Maybe next time we will play a bit better and we will put 80 on them.



As for the draw i think its a fantastic draw for Fax. A home tie against the best supported team outside of SL which should generate some cash for both teams. Also a winnable game but the reality is whoever wins will be either looking at a lucrative next round draw or an easy draw to progress to the next round the way the draw came out last night.

Well done for that one............might have put 40 on us but it was against arguably a side with a fair few 1st teamers missing. Things will be different 'my friend' in the League. I recall you lot struggling with Blackpool for at least half a game not to long ago - A team Barrow whooped comfortably and in 2nd gear.

Lets avoid a Fax did this and Barrow did that on a Widnes board.

Guys - I am looking forward to this tie but lets get the first game out of the way first.
