Back on the road on Friday, a winnable game even in our current form (you'd like to think). Carlos returning from his ban could be a timely return for Sutcliffe should he drop out. Be interesting to see if Mcintosh and Litten return. Now the season is all but done id like to see some younger players given a chance over players that won't be here in 2024.

To be honest now the season is just as good as done I don't see the point in continuing to play Lovodua for the little he offers, Dwyer for a 10-15 cameo appearance. Question marks on Lane as he has a very poor season performance wise.

Time for TS to stop talking about giving the youth a chance and actually do it before there are no games left.

When are the Reserves playoffs?
I wonder if they'll want some of our better young players to play in those rather than a nothing game at Cas.

No play-offs for the reserves sadly, just 1st and 2nd straight into the final. Academy side are in the play offs however.

Same again next year too after the clubs went against IMG and decided to keep loop fixtures

think for the integrity of the competition, unlike others, we should play our strongest line up, sending a team half full of academy lads doesn't sit well with me with Cas and Wakeyfighting it out for survival in SL!

If I’m being honest think that’s me done for the season with Clifford banned now on top of the last two poor performances.
Just can’t sum up the enthusiasm to head to Cas and probably put my pass away for the season.

Just hope the club have some positive news soon and a squad in 2024 that will be competitive.

Cas have a bunch out and banned too so its bound to be a dire game.

To be honest I find the number of bans that still get dished out isn’t doing the game any favours. Even with the so called rethink with adjusted grading the bans still keep on coming leading to a number of games then being pretty poor spectacles.

Really think the whole system including officials, MRP etc needs a root and branch overhaul.

Why would you not go to the Huddersfield game, especially if you've paid for it?

Regardless of the fact we might actually win it's our last home game for five months and it's the last home game for Taylor, Swift, Clifford, Savelio and Satae. Possibly a farewell to Ellis too if his departure is confirmed by then.

It doesn’t really make much difference that I’ve paid for it as I paid for my pass nearly a year ago. I’d rather do something with my time that’s more worthwhile.

Just find the end of season tail off tiresome along with the piece meal communication from the club. I know I know the club will release news as and when ready etc but after the last few years of utter dross they’d be better served re engaging with the fanbase and trying to keep fans feeling positive. I maybe just being cranky since I hit 50 but it just as much as I try to be patient the lack of news of any sort it starts to grind my bones.

While I’m pleased to see that some changes have been made there’s still a lot of issues and a huge gulf in terms of outgoings and incomings, some of the selections etc just seems to make it harder to stay positive as a fan.

Back on topic and the Cas game the thought of a halfback pairing of Houghton/Lovodua with Dwyer doing 80 mins at 9 or Hoy/Lovodua with Shaul at FB with either option having Lane in the starting 13 does little to wet the appetite.
