A number of changes. Some forced, some by choice. Taylor must be a doubt, Griffin and Fash could be on the naughty step.
Smith has said that Jack Brown, Joe Lovodua, Ben McNamara and Cameron Scott are all likely to play. Clifford back of course.

| Think Taylor & Hoy are most likely out and depends on Tuesday whether Fash & Griffin will be available but seems unlikely.
If I’m honest I’d be tempted to drop Dwyer but that would mean having to push Houghton again with a short turn around. Is it worth recalling Balmforth to give him an opportunity on the bench or bring Lovodua back in to the 17? Wouldn’t surprise me based on TS post match comments if he goes with a McNamara/Lovodua pairing at 9.
Will certainly help having Clifford back especially if Hoy is not risked.
Brown has to come in for Taylor with Staveley, Gardiner or Laidlaw in if Fash is banned.
Think Scott will come back in on the bench with Lane starting in Griffins place if banned.
Fingers crossed for a favourable outcome at the MRP but not holding my breath on that one.

| Clifford for Hoy
Brown for Taylor
Gardiner for Fash
Lane for Griffin
Would have McNamara stint at hooker for Dwyer, wouldn’t be surprised to see lovodua at 13 for Cator

Wonder if we’ll see McNamara & Lovodua at 9 and Scott at 13 if TS rests Houghton & Cator.
Can see Smith possibly resting Houghton but sticking with Cator especially if Fash is banned.

Sending off sufficient hopefully. Cost us any chance of winning. That should be punishment enough.
Can hit somebody illegally in the head like Charnley did and get away with a £250 fine so I'd be disappointed if Griffin gets a ban for telling the ref he's , and we deem that as a more severe act than causing a head injury.

I think they might use him to set an example and he will get a few matchs.

Did he get a warning when Liam Moore binned him in the cup?
Can see him getting at least 2 games

I agree I think he will get a ban, I just don't think he should when you can get away with taking somebody out of a game for much less punishment.

I think it will depend on what he said, hopefully SOS, but think he will get a ban, as he did it recently too, so it will be seen as a repeat offence and it looks like he isn't learning.

| Grade F charge for Griffin - Questioning the Integrity of an Official. Referred to the tribunal.
FFS what's that then - eight matches?

Potentially. Plenty of time to really launch that personal coaching business

Potentially more than the tackle from the Wakey player.
Chance for Staverley, give him a few games in the first team. Brown for Taylor, Clifford for Hoy if out, if not Litten on the bench fit Dywer.

| So the good news is that Fash is NFA, the bad news is Grade F for Griffin.
Whilst I don't condone abuse of the officials I would say unless Griffin has really gone to town and called Kendal something extreme the grading at F seems crazy.
Unless the RFL have cast iron evidence of Kendals mic recording what was said I just don't see how the MRP can bring any real judgement or punishment. The linesman was behind and would likely have been out of earshot bending down to pick up the ball initially to have heard what was said with the crowd noise at the time. If no recording then its a case of one word against the other and as both have previous then its fair to say the MRP can not justifiably apportion blame or punishment to either without evidence.
That said the MRP have form for taking sides without clear evidence in the recent tribunal with Josh McGuire claiming Charnley was an 'Impressive & credible witness' and that Kasiano & Philbin as witnesses added nothing as 'they were not in close enough proximity'. So are they likely to say the same about Kendal but would be questionable if they class the touch judge being close enough?
If Griffin hasn't said anything that warrants a Grade F charge, I hope the club defend him and take the fight to the RFL/MRP and Kendal.
Just feel the RFL/MRP will back up Kendal regardless.
No mention of the shoulder charge made by Batchelor or Walmsley sliding in with his knees on Trueman when scoring.

You have to remember that the ref, linesmen and video ref are wired for sound together, so whatever was said was witnessed by all of the officials. Grade F isn’t to be taken lightly and wouldn’t have been referred to tribunal unless they have either witnesses or corroborative recordings. I’m amazed the BBC didn’t have it on screen but I haven’t watched it. Didn’t they have Kendall’s voice over on the show? I would guess 8 matches if found guilty, especially after the Cas incident.

| Im sure Hock got less matchs when he pushed the ref, think the RFL should release the transcript, if it's that bad fair enough, but I can't imagine anything he said warrants that kind of ban, unless he used discrimination language in any way.

The only time you hear anything is when Carlos goes to speak to Kendal and you can just hear Kendal say 'dissent' and that's about it.
It's to be hoped the any recordings / transcripts are available to club which show a grade F is justifiable, as unless Griffin used derogatory terms or some extreme language F seems excessive. Would calling Kendal a joke be classed a Grade F in all seriousness?

| Seeing as Kaide Ellis' offence has been graded as D then perhaps Griffin would have been better advised to have stuck the nut on Kendal rather than question his integrity............ just saying
It just shows the disparity in grading for offences when a head butt is considerably less of a grading all things considered.
I just hope that whatever was actually said by Griffin and the whole process of the tribunal there is total transparency.
