| Signed a year extension with an option of a further year in the clubs favour.
Exciting young centre Connor Wynne has signed a new contract at Hull FC!
The 21-year-old has agreed an initial one-year contract extension with the Black & Whites, with the club holding the option to extend the deal by a further twelve months.

Guess unless really needed his full back days are over. Definitely think he should be our starting left centre now.

You haven't been proven correct at all.
Agree, Wynne definitely deserves to keep the shirt for now. Since his serious injury last season followed by some lesser ones this season it's unsurprising that Griffin hasn't got going. Whether he'll be the same player remains to be seen.
Your obsessive dislike of Griffin has been going on for years despite him being one of our better performers even when he was voted player of the season 3 years ago.
It's disappointing that a fan is willing a player to fail to fit a narrative that most people on here believe is flawed.

Like his attitude as well. As a boyhood fan it would have been his dream to wear that shirt.
More like him to come through please.

| This is great news. A real talent and alongside McNamara, Brown and Lane forming a homegrown group that's evidence to the next group like Litten, Hookem, Walker of genuine pathway to regular first team selection. Not to mention the more established homegrown group of Shaul, Houghton, Bowden and Fash. Does feel like things are moving in the right direction in this respect.

Can we class Balmforth has homegrown? Ok not from Hull but developed through our academy with a little bit of help from Warrington ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

Griffin was rightfully a first choice centre upto his injury last season. Tipped for England honours. He has struggled since but to call him that shows a lack of respect.
Wynne has really taken to centre and it's now his position to lose.
Another few years and Wynne will be your next [ibête noire[/i and you'll be boring us all as with your Yeaman and Griffin obsessions.

Your criticism was incorrect before his injury. Rugby is 90% form though - and he doesn't currently deserve a spot on form. He should be selected if/when Tuimavave, Wynne or Vulikijapani are injured or play badly enough to be dropped. Same with Swift.
Superb news about Wynne.

Griffin has had one good season since he signed for the club and that was 3 years ago
Yeaman stole a living from the club and got away with it because he was a local player
Ok just for you i will say Griffin is slow and not a carthorse.Name me one other centre in S/L who picks up a loose ball 60 meters out and cant make the try line.
Then has one of his brain farts and drops the ball when tackled
As i have said both Wynne and Mitch are far superior centres this season than Griffin but still some on here wont agree

Wynne is the future, but Griffins has been excellent since he signed in 2017, even in our porr seasons he stood out, that's why he has been named in England squads in the past, every Hull fan except you can see he has been a very good signing, but you have had it in for him since he signed for some reason and has proven you wrong on many occasions with excellent performances at centre.
He hasn't look the same since his injury, maybe lost a bit of confidence, but he still has plenty to offer.
Your comments on Yeaman are nonsense too, he was a bit limited, but a fantastic player for Hull, meaning he made drae, teams and many England caps.

Your pathological hatred of certain players is ridiculous and you’ve even stated it on a topic praising the club for giving a good up and coming player an extension. Completely nothing to do with it but you have to get your digs in, these are not the actions of a real FC supporter. Griffin was carrying an injury when he didn’t make the line, he ended up with his lower leg in a boot, which you tried to write off as the club and player making an excuse for being dropped, your words not mine. Yourself and Talent should give up the ghost. All over the forum when we lose but nowhere to be seen when a win, then come on to try and criticise some little thing that happened in the game.
Anyway, back on topic, great news regards Wynne’s extension.

I also dont agree that he has been a good signing. He has had one good season 3 years ago and you cant seriously think every Hull Fc fan think he has been a good signing.Even on here and this is a real pro Griffin forum people are questioning his position as a left centre in front of Wynne and Mitch. That said it wouldnt surprise me to see Hodgsons loyalty to some senior players and play Griffin ahead of Wynne.
As regards Yeaman. He had been a great player for Hull but the last three seasons he stole a living thats fact not nonsense. You surely cant deny that

Are you stuck in a time warp?
You seem to have a real problem understanding the meaning of “form”.
Fans, including me, are saying that on current form Griffin is behind Wynne and Mitch. That’s fair enough.
But that doesn’t mean he has been a bad signing. In fact for me he has been a very good signing and played far more good games than bad.
That doesn’t guarantee him a place in the side though.

We've had exceptional service from Griffin since he signed.
The good thing is we have 2 good young centre options in Wynne and Scott when Griffin and Carlos decide to call it a day.
