I suppose like all signings especially imports it's a risk. Could be brilliant, could be a liability. Probably not going to be boring, As you say he hopefully offers the aggression that Bowden and Matongo didn't.

The fans always love a rough Prop too, such as Greenhill and O'Meley in the MKM Stadium era and while on the field success is the main objective, improving the entertainment value and flogging some tickets is also important.

We wanted some pace out wide and we got it. Some pace from dummy half we got it. Some more size and aggression to the pack and now we've added that to. Good to see the club improving in the areas that so obviously needed it.
If Taylor can get back to fitness we now have 2 big units to come on when Sao and Satae go off. We will lose nowwhere near as much as having to bring Fash and Bowden on.

So we now have quality depth at prop, strong bench option to spell Satae/Sao

I think it is probably the end, baring a junior signing. They'll want the players back in pre season soon and always takes time getting players across from down under, without the added Covid complications on top.

While I'd love new half backs there aren't many quality ones about, whoever replaces Sneyd will need to be a long term replacement too you need stability in that role.

We needed a prop, we've signed a prop. As to his ability I'll wait and see what he's like in a B&W shirt before I get excited.

In an ideal world we'd sign Scurr plus a back up half.

Brett has done well to address some of the issues the squad has on limited cap space.

I'm glad we're taking the patient approach and not signing the 1st guy who's available. We've been after a middle since last season and kept our powder dry.

Squad is still in transition for me, and will be until we get some big hitters off contract at the end of 2022. Evolution not revolution. The retentions have been really important this year and we’ve done well to sign up who we have.

In the event Taylor regains some fitness as you say, Satae, Sao, Evans and Taylor is a good sizeable foursome with Brown and Bowden as back up.

Well...he'll be in his thirties when he plays his first game for us - but not a bad age for a prop.

Don't think Bowden will be any where near squads next year, unless we get Injurysz there's a reason he's been told he can leave, Fash will be above him as will Brown

I liked Bowden, but following his injuries, I think the Super League has caught up with him. I expect both him and JJ will end up at one of the Championship promotion challengers next season.

I know we were linked also with Evans I think he will be a good signing, my niggle would be he only averages 17 games per season over his career in the NRL. Other than that he has some good attributes like an offload and he appears to be an enforcer which can be a real plus but also a potential issue see how he goes in SL new chapter and all that.

A good and much needed signing - we now have the makings of an awesome foursome if Tag keeps fit , I think it is far too early to write Taylor off, he’s been a great servant and hard as nails , fingers crossed we get the old Tag next year, we now lack only a half back but if the pack can dominate then Snead can be effective - no number 7 shines shines behind a beaten pack and this will also allow Jake to pick his moments - overall we’ve got to thank AP- he’s put the money in again and let’s hope this time we make it pay - welcome Kane Evans , I’d rather see him than the likes of Vete and Simms who are our neighbours enforcers .
