But interesting its another 2 year deal, maybe Pearson has had enough of the long deals which are making our squad stagnant

My only issue is both him and Tui are good players but neither are players with proper pace and theyre now our centres for the next two years
|

Pleased with this, really missed him, hopefully Scott can challenge for the centre position giving competition and also been able to use Griffin in pack at times.

Griffs 31 now, I'd be concerned if we offered him more than that.
I definitely take your point though on shorter deals though, certainly makes it easier if you need to freshen things up. |

My point just being that the Mail told us it was a done deal a couple of months ago and it must have been as he was not on the RFL's available players list either. |

People will find fault whatever the timimg of news of recruitment/retainment.
After a loss and it's papering over the cracks, after a win we've been sitting on it and it's only been done because we won and at the end of the season it'sbecause memberships are going on sale. This isn't a dig at you, btw, just a general observation. |
