I would be tempted to move Fonua to centre, its where he has played his best rugby for us. Bringing in Buretta gives us an even slower three quarters though. I notice Mitch didn't play for Bradford yesterday and wasn't in the 21 man squad, I wonder if he is injured or just not very good at league. There is nothing on the Bradford twitter.

I would be tempted to play Scott at Centre for the rest of the season. I have doubts whether he is going to make a SL centre, so I would say to him he has that role for the rest of the season and see how he progresses.

I would be nervous of Fonua at Centre, but at Cas, it is a narrow pitch so harder to go around teams so might be safe defensively

I think Brett will go with Cam Scott at Centre and Farimino on the bench. Having played and scored with a good finish on Saturday, Scott should retain his place. It also means minimum disruption to the line up.

After that, team same as Saturday, unless he drafts Johnstone onto the bench. Hopefully no disciplinary issues to contend with.

Perhaps Hull asked to withdraw Mitch as he’s ilkley to be in our 21 for Thursday, unless his initial loan spell doesn’t allow that yet?

Thursday will be a tough game, but at least Cas will be drained too, so hopefully we can pick up the points and get on a run with a more favourable fixture list coming up.

That's my thinking too. And Wynne hasn't gone back out on loan so promote him to the bench. Or Ferreira, he's had a couple of good performances in the academy.

In that case they would be a lot of players not playing. you cant pick him just because hes not here,

Cameron was the England academy captain, and started at centre in the series he played in.

Big things are expected of him, but he needs a run of games to try and fulfil his potential.

I'd rather us try and invest the time into Cam now.

Our wingers next year will be Fonua, Swift and Mcintosh. It would be good if we could have 3 good centre options next year too with Carlos, Griffin and Scott. The only way we'll find out with Scott is to play him.

totally agree if its on merit, but not because farimo is leaving so he doesnt play, hard call anyway but i hope we dont keep farimo out for that reason,

He is raw but a real athlete.he will play first team at some point this season i am certain.
Ratu also took some time to get in the team.Once these guys get their first long distance try the confidence gets sky high.
Like Ratu he has real pace and i am looking forward to us having some pace back on both wings.

To be fair I’ve questioned Scott at times but thought he did well in place of Griff in the semi last Saturday and took the try well.

Think he could/should get the start on Thursday.

I wondered if Scott would make it to be honest but after the way he has filled in and how he played on Saturday he now deserves an extended run. However, with the demeanour and both physical and mental condition of the players after Saturday this will be the biggest ask so far this season and I'm not expecting anything to be honest. Castleford played the same day as well but the difference between winning and losing in such games is massive. In addition as many suspected from the off the size of our squad is going to cause us big issues going forward.

Play Cam Scott Centre that's his position not really had a run in the team, give him a good run and see if he is good enough let him learn on the job, leave Fonua, B and Swift for the wings.
When Shaul is fit put him back to FB and Jake back in the centres which is his best position imo.

You cannot do that. The attacking structure that we have is to get the Full Back into a position to be able to make the crucial pass - something we know that Shaul just cannot do.

Imagine our attack with Shaul, Reynolds and Sneyd.

Scott deserves a chance at centre, although I'd have Faraimo on the bench.

Also drop Bowden, have two props on the bench, not 3 and play Johnstone or McNamara to spell Houghton. I would also be tempted to split up Satae and Sao.

I watched his last game and he doesn't look SL quality yet. He looked the part in a Bull shirt as he is a unit but he wasn't comfortable and didn't see much ball. He flattened Kieran Dixon though so I like him already.

And at least he is fit. Our Academy three-quarters Barron, Ferreira and Speed are all injured. Barron for a while after breaking his leg. So Mitch could be in the squad. But you have to think Wynne and Faraimo are ahead of him.

Covid is creeping up on clubs again, some games could be in doubt.
