Bit of anti climax

Not a glamourous fixture for sure but I suspect that the more attractive games will be pushed back in the fixture list in the hope of crowds being able to attend later in the year.

Josh Jones can get there on his bike, no need for travel pills.

i saw it on twitter whilst scrolling through, one of the RL hacks posted it, still gives us an opp to welcome Jones back later in the year, unless he gets travel sickness

How can the start of a new season, with JR and BH in the black and white colours be an anti climax?
Such an interesting sub plot too.
Better 2 teams building and wanting to get off to a good start to impress their new coaches then a 1st round tonking to Saints or Wigan.

V Huddersfield (very unexciting club and no fans) and on a Neutral Ground again - an anti climax of a start of a season imo

If fan numbers is an issue for you then surely its the perfect fixture given there will be no fans allowed anyway. Better that than say Leeds or HKR.

If No 6 is correct and these are loop fixtures, then fair enough.

But if these are ordinary fixtures, I don’t get how
Wakey v Leeds at Headingley can be listed as a Leeds away fixture.

Things may change regarding travel and sport, so surely this should have been a Wakey away fixture.

Didn’t we play our home game last season at Headingley. I would imagine all early rounds will be played at Saints or Leeds until otherwise stated or we’re allowed to play at the KC, hopefully with fans. I think the Hudds tie is very interesting, both teams have new coaches, after Watson turned us down. Josh Jones and a lot of new faces at Hudds and I’m dying to see Josh Reynolds in black and white plus see what Hodgson has done so far.

All those ingredients would have added anticipation and excitement to our fixture with Huddersfield, just a great shame we can’t watch it in person.
