| Can anyone tell me if we can play any of our home games (behind closed doors) at another ground, or do we have to play them at the KC?
What sort of money would we have to pay if we still had to plat home games at the KC (behind closed doors)?

No idea, it depends how they work the whole thing. It would make sense to use a small ground for back to back matches on Sky, the cheapest possible to open up, Keepmoat would be ideal for three days of three games, nobody could even get close to calling Doncaster anything like an advantage/disadvantage, then maybe Gigg Lane for Lancashire "home" matches for the same. The KC would be silly to open for behind closed doors games?

| People should be charged for streaming the games !
If you want the Club to survive, and extra income will help .
Sponsorships will be down , match day income gone . Pass sales for 2021 onwards will be low .
Hull FC have not got a wealthy benefactor. Fans need to release that a tough period financially for the Club is here .
Some of our fan base are deluded if they think we will come out of this well !

Wasn’t the plan, to play several matches at one venue I seem to remember Headingley was mentioned as one possible venue

Think you are correct but then Hetherington is so far up RFL only his feet are showing, therefore any income it generates will be straight his deep pockets. RFL funded Leeds for years with semis and final venues.

Spot on about Hetherington, that's probably why he wanted the Grand Final in January hoping if Man United couldn't stage it would be moved to Headingley

... and nothing to pay, you don't buy passes @city with a one off charge, but over a 12 month rolling payment.
So, in theory, despite charging them for streaming, they will still be better off.

| if the club are still having to pay rent and costs for the KC during lockdown, if i was Pearson id want to play our home games at home! why pay for something and not use it! travelling west every week and midweek would add more costs, same for HKR
no fans so no stewards, reserve/academy players to be used as ball boys.
dont agree with leeds hosting neutral games if they are playing there, especially if they are the away team too! same with saints and wire making their grounds available! if those clubs who pay rent for use of stadiums and still paying...then they should be within their rights to use it!

| The Aussies are charging 22 dollars to have your picture in the seats at the stadium, I’m sure hull fans would lap that kind of stuff up. Just need to be more creative and less doom and gloom, I’m sure we can make up a match day income of some sort, just need to get the games going and get creative

Sorry but you’re sooooo wrong maybe true this century but my memory goes way back. See how many Yorkshire Cups and John Player Finals were held there plus Internationals. We practically funded Leeds for years when you couldn’t fill the South Stand.

| ... would anyone really want to go when you can stay at home, hassle free, with all mod cons like toilets, sofas and a tv screen with an unobstructed view?
And how much more would it cost to setup?

Wouldn’t be for everyone, and toilets could be the problem, but I reckon you’d get plenty up for it. Costs wise I don’t reckon it would be to bad hiring a couple of big screens for a few hours, I’m sure Pearson as plenty of contacts. Everyone singing from the cars, car horns honking, great atmosphere, what more do you want haha your points are very valid though

Creating huge amounts of localised pollution that increases respiratory deaths due to cars running constantly to stay warm/demisting windscreens is not a very good way to go watch a rugby match really is it?
Add in the total chaos of congestion, people not being able to see the screen from a car whilst in the back seats for sure and unless you have a convertible and for a significant number you'd be lucky if you can see all the screen even from the front seats.
Also who is going to fund the massive cost of a screen big enough so that people hundreds of metres away can see the action?
Where is the food coming from, we don't have an existing catering facility, that's the stadium management, so are you going to use independent traders, how are the club going to manage a cut of sales, how many people would you need to employ to serve potentially thousands. How is that even safe given the fairground land is in a shocking state at the best of times, add in that it's unlit so how are you going to locate any given vehicle easily in the dark with these mobile servers?
Sure, let's come up with ideas but 'drive in' isn't viable financially, nor from a health and safety or even logistical POV either.
Streaming in highest quality possible on a PPV is the only way to go at the moment, sell the match to watch at a later date for those not able to watch it live.

Hahaha jeeez it was only an idea, localised pollution, give me a break. You’ve made miles more complicated than it needs to be. Parramatta had 5000 cardboard cutout of fans at 22 dollars a pop this weekend. People, companies need to stop whining and start doing, it’s getting boring now

| Quote The Rugby Football League has confirmed that a limited number of stadiums are set to be used when Super League returns behind closed doors.
Karen Moorhouse, the RFL's chief regulatory officer, says it is “very likely” select stadiums will initially be used to help with logistics.
“When you talk about behind closed doors, you’re looking at having a limited number of stadiums - it means you can dig down and have a limited number of procedures,” she added.'"
You'd have thought Football League grounds would be top of the list as all the "finer details" will already have been sorted out.
