| Days since our last win.
A long time between drinks. Can anyone even remember what it's like to watch us win a game?

224 days since our last win (Widnes at home)
264 days since our last win away from the KCOM (Magic weekend)
302 days since our last win on opposition territory in Super League (also Widnes).
Strange to think that leaving the KCOM on 29th June last year after the win over Widnes our record was P19 W11 L8 and we were sitting quite handily in 5th place.

| Lose at Wigan and it's a full half a season of losses. Truly shocking. I'm not sure how long Pearson will(can) stick with Radford if we don't start winning soon.

Things can change very quickly, but right now it does feel Radford is maybe in the third act of his story as Hull’s coach. This is his sixth season, so it has not been a bad run. The longest tenure since Arthur Bunting’s.
A heavy defeat and I think fans’ patience would snap - threads like this show it is stretched thin. He could really do with you winning 2 of your next three, because 0 or 1 from 5, might also do for him.
I thought he was poor initially and, even allowing for him learning as he went and what came next, I stand by that.
I thought what he did next was hugely impressive, and even allowing for the contribution of Motu Tony’s recruitment efforts, a very good run on the injury front and what has come next, I stand by that too.
The planned next step, I think, was that you’d balance paying more to the players who’d won you the cup twice, by filling out the squad with some more of [ithat[/i generation of academy graduates, who’d offer great value cover and with a few eventually becoming major contributors. They were never likely to match the most optimistic predictions, but as a group they’ve barely reached my much more modest expectations. As a result, recruitment has had to be about trying to find players a bit better than Jansin Turgut or Jack Logan, rather than replacing retired, departed or fading stars.
So there’s LR’s coaching obituary - you’ll probably go on a long winning streak now!
What’s his Win and Loss record overall now? Bit unfair, as being in the top 8s each season deprived him of games against the bottom teams that previous coach’s had. In SL he’s below .500 now, based on a quick tally I did.
Edit. He has his own page, doesn’t he?! With the two losses this season he’s 78-3-79 or .497. If Wikipedia is right.

| At least MR proves that there are some intelligent and fair Rovers fans out there
I think LRs contribution will stand in the annals of our long history. One of the immortals!
He seems well liked by his players as well. Just think something needs to change. If it’s not Radford, maybe it’s a new assistant providing a fresh voice?
When the time comes for a coaching change, I can see it being Horne and Ellis taking over.

An assistant with a fresh voice is only good as long as the man in charge is prepared to listen.
I think the gloss has finally come off Lee's tenure. 13 SL lossess, 2 record defeats, not won since June 18 and now the 1st time in Lee's tenure we've lost the first 2 league games of an opening season.
I can't think of many coaches who would survive a record like that despite their previous record.
Everyone can see the effort is there from the team but the results aren't. Indiscipline, errors and lack of attacking finesse let us down badly.
This has been a recurring theme, even commented on by coaching staff and players alike, yet nothing changes or improves.
The team of 2016 on it's day was unplayable and should have also won the GF had we not been as unprofessional on gone on a weeks bender.
Unfortunately players from that team have left or are 3 years older and yet our structure of play has remained and proved unsustainable.
Lee will forever be in Hull's history as a back to back cup winning coach but now for me a new coach, fresh ideas and a change of direction are needed to regalvanise this team reach the potential we know is there.

He's earnt it for our days in the sun.

| I’m not sure what the right thing is to do , but I think this season will be win a couple lose a couple kind of season due to our squad . Think Pearson might stick with Radders and let him see his contract out . For me we have gone stale , it’s either through keeping the same squad or the players hearing the same voice with no change . I do think Radders will regret giving out them contracts last season but he won’t admit it !

| If we lose at Wigan it'll be our worst start to a season since 2011 when we lost the first three and won only once in the first six rounds. Should we lose at Wigan [iand[/i Huddersfield it'll be the worst start for twenty years. In 1999 we didn't win until round eight.

| Contract decisions have to made in April/May, we had just won 8 games out of 10 by magic weekend, so it's not always that easy.
Maybe the stars some on here are demanding we sign couldn't commit until 2020?
Who knows?
Our losing run started the day after Manu and Mini were resigned, make whatever you want out of that.

I've been attending games for years, home and away in all weathers so not sure how that makes me a fairweatherer (not sure that's a word by the way) just because I'm fed up with our current ongoing predicament.
Not sure what staying in the trenches actually achieves is it braveness or stupidity to blindly follow? I'll let you decide that 1 but ultimately fighting on regardless as you intimate could result in a change of fortune eventually or still achieve the square route of f00k all.
And 2 glorious days in the sun hardly make a summer.

Add Bowden, Green and Bienek into the mix and pack rotation becomes realistic.

Is your money more valuable then mine? Do you pay double for your merchandise in the club shop? Or does the brightness from your halo eminate such brightness that when you walk into the stadium the team are visibly lifted?
Thought not.
So we just support the club in the same way then just to clarify.
Just because I voice my opinion and concerns on here it doesn't make me any less of a fan then you or I'll fight them in the trenches Wizeb and if you think it does then you're sadly deluded, which I think most of us on here have concluded you are.

| As much as Radders will be in our hearts for what he has achieved, a fresh approach is needed. Classsic example of this is Kieran Cunningham. Towards the end of his tenure, saints were flat and some what predictable, picking up the odd win here and there but nothing spectacular. Cunningham was well respected by the club and fans alike, but change was inevitable. Those same players transformed over night into a force that would take super league by storm for the next 18 months. We should now as Holbrook s first game was against us at magic

Saints rise and our decline in a short space of time are a great example of how quickly things can change. It's not long ago that we steamrollered them on their patch on the way to winning the cup. Fast forward a couple of seasons and they're a long way ahead of us. The core of each club's squad is pretty much the same as it was but they've advanced significantly whilst we've gone backwards
