| Apologies Sir Stan I should have made it clear that the floodlights I referred to are the lights that are included in the rent we pay along with our co-tenants Hull City to SMC for the use of Kcom stadium. Let me know if there are any further clarifications you need - the meaning of life for example

Not sure why we'd need to train on the KCOM pitch when we have probably the best training facilities in Super League.
The answer to your second question is 'now'.

Sorry but I can't let that pass. Probably the best training facilities in Super League? Seriously?
I'm not even sure if you have the best facilities in West Hull !

Hull KR purchased a 99 year leasehold on the ground CURRENTLY known as KCOM Craven Park. This was one of the first things Neil Hudgell did on becoming chairman and what an astute move it was.
This gives Hull KR exclusive use of the stadium for many decades to come. Anyone else wants to use they must ask Hull KR and pay Hull KR for example Little Mix & Paul Heaton concerts, boxing events, drive in cinema. Catering, events etc all income from any activity at KCOM Craven Park all income to Hull KR and this is now a considerable sum.
Naming rights for the stadium? Income to Hull KR. Naming rights for various parts of the ground e.g. East Stand? Income to Hull KR.
The North Stand and floodlights are a slight exception having been opened since the lease was purchased. These were financed by several parties and with EU grant and Rovers actually pay a yearly amount for exclusive use of the sections used by the club. Parts of the North Stand, offices etc belong to others. The floodlights are not part of the lease owned by Hull KR so don't actually belong to the club unlike most of the ground.
Hull City Council are the freeholders but basically they have sold the stadium to Hull KR for 99 years. No doubt when the time comes they will rubber stamp a renewal but in the unlikely event they don't you will not be alive to witness.

You will have to give me some time to research. Presumably I can include college facilities that they don't use and multi million pound public gyms?

Key word highlighted - thanks for clarifying that they do not own the land or stadium.
Were you aware that for any non-sporting event there is an additional rent charge to the actual owner, so where are I am sure that rovers made money out of the concerts held there, there was also a kickback to the owner.

| This isn’t right, Kingston Community Developments run by Keith Brown own the long term lease off the council, KCD sub let the ground to Hull KR, The only direct leases from the council are for offices, bar and restaurant areas, seating and concourse in the north stand plus the training land beyond the East stand, the rest is rented from KCD.

| Does it really matter? Hull KR don't have a body like the SMC over us who hate our presence in the stadium and would kick us out tomorrow if they get the chance. Add in the fact that the principal club that also uses the stadium is up for sale and could well be sold to someone who is fronted by a former Chairman of the football club who is on record as asking if Hull FC supporters can actually read and write! I would worry about your tenancy if I were you. Remember that your lease expires in just 35 years.

I'm sorry to spoil the p155ing contest between you Humbersarder's
I have been to Hull FC's training facilities and they are excellent
But sadly they are not even close to the facilities available at Kirkstall (2016 apart when it was under water )
