Apparently we covered the fee for Donny signing him from Rovers. Certainly done our homework on this one it seems.

I find it a bit strange in some ways, when everyone is fit he won't get many games.

played for kr against Sheffield last year and made 2 good breaks early on ,faded a little 2nd half and was never seen again,from where I was standing looked a decent prospect, think he was offered terms, obviously not good ones as he signed for Donny.maybe not the environment to blood young halves in the championship as you found with the thuggery at Featherstone,

Yes, he played in at least two rounds for Doncaster.

Intresting signing, wasn't a fan of getting him on loan like suggested, but as a permanent signing it's a good move.

Gives us some options in backs.

Seems a long contract for a young kid to sign when we have 2 of the best half in SL signed up for the next couple of seasons

Think he will take over the half back cover from Abdul, who I can see moving on next year.

I think he fits into this mould of half backs who can play fullback, as opposed to a controlling seven type role.

Played a bit at york at FB last year and by all accounts tore it up. I was at the sheffield game too, he did well at first couple of great breaks. Soon faded. Not sure he's ready yet, but no doubt will be within a couple of years.

Rovers fans I've seen on social media don't seem too happy about it, surely a good sign.

I was at the Academy game on Saturday.
Chatting to a few people, word was Abdull was signing for Rovers until his injury struck . They have held off for now. Also Rovers have been watching Reece Dean .
