why they don't just take a couple of CC employees down and a police officer and just bolt cut the locks off and issue them with a fine god only knows if you drop a cig in town they issue you with a fine on the spot but someone blocks a public footpath and they do nothing its unbelievable

Does seem incredible that the Council own the ground, have not given consent for this change, yet are unable to take action..

The Council are scared of the Allams, the SMC RENT the ground, the Council OWN it, so the SMC should have to get permission from them anyway, wether its planning permission or simply “owners consent”.

Indeed. Lots of “over our dead body” posturing about Airco and ultimately the Allams won. A succession of similar incremental activities designed to make the council look ridiculous but which presumably are not able to be challenged.

SMC say Humberdside Police have said the gate should be closed for security reasons.

Perhaps, for clarity, Humberside Police should make a public statement. Then everyone will see who is telling the truth.

The council are scared of getting into another legal battle with the Allams so will bend over and take it.
This will continue till either the Allams get bored or the council get the appetite to nail them once and for all. I don't see either of these scenarios happening anytime soon.

IMO the reason the Allams are constantly fuelling the feud is they actually want rid of the Stadium Management company. I’m led to believe they’ve loaded it with debt, possibly up to £12 million, and it’s become a burden they no longer want due to it’s impact on any sale of City.

Looking on the pictures there seems to be a lower bit of fence next to it and a lower bit just along the grass so will probably just climb over them. Or walk across that bit of grassland that leads down to the car park and just bypass it. Bloody annoying though...

Terrorist/security risk, I'm 64 and could easily climb over that gate so I'm sure someone intent on mischief wouldn't be stopped by a four/five foot gate.

Yeh Trawlerman but how many councillors can climb over it, I think perhaps maybe that's more of the issue!!

The whole situation regarding the SMC/Allams in regard to the Stadium is beyond a farce now and the Council need to seriously look at the mess they've got into with the Allams over the fact they are in affect the SMC.

The time has come for HCC to take serious steps now to start a process to oust the Allams from having anything to do with the stadium other than them paying to use it for Hull City.
The Allams seem to be do everything possible to make life difficult for the Council (some of their own doing) and the good people of this City all because they don't get their own way. They are pathetic, childish bullies and the sooner the council are rid of them the better, the gift to the City really was the joke of century that was bought by so many in the council & media.
The only people the Allams ever look out for is themselves and only themselves, the fact he claims to be philanthropic is another pile of dung to put of the mountain of 5h!t from them.

Debt accrued from the football club has been placed on to the SMC,namely through community coaches (Tigers Trust)

Lets not forget the £1million he gave to Kr literally just to try to pee us off cos he didn't want us in "his" stadium.

Wasn't it a Labour council that essentially gave away the asset and the opportunity to get some of the money back they'd spent on it, including being able to utilise their property without being charged for it.
the whole thing was a massive cockup from day 1 and the council don't have the know-how or gumption to rectify the mistakes made.

Good news that the police/fire brigade have taken action. Can’t believe for a second we’ve heard the last of this though.

In sure there'll some statement from the Allams in due course threatening to do something maybe move to Melton......... oh hang a minute that's was years ago.

Hope they get fined for wasting Police & Fire Brigade time when they just had to open the gate.
