Absolutely massive game for both teams, certainly our biggest SL game so far this season.

Wakey are a decent side, so need to be on our game or we will lose.

Ellis back is massive for us, hopefully Carlos as well.

I'd play Connor at centre as for me e is too good not to play in the 13, put Griffin on the wing or the bench depending on

Watts will no doubt be banned.

Hopefully a decent crowd and a similar atmosphere to Friday night.

We have had a habit of losing 3 league matches on the trot and going on a decent run of wins. Well we have had the 3 losses, we now need 4 win on the spin.

Would like to think the RFL would do the right thing on Watts, but as it's the 3rd time this season I can only see a ban as RFL will not want to contradict their ref.

We play like we did v Wigan and we beat Wakey. Ellis being back is huge.

Agree with that. Shame for Watts, IMO he plays tough but is not a niggly/aggressive player and in the context of what is a dubious at best red card and the fact he served most of the game some pragmatism could reasaonably be expected. So given it's the RFL I expect him to be missing until March.

I don't think he will. The concensus from ex players and refs is that it was a really harsh decision, and these are the people that make up the panel. I think he will get SOS.

Thats what it should be but 2/3 matches is what i expect.

Keep saying Connor and Tuimavave are by far our best centres.
Griffin will get 2 game ban.
I hope Carlos is fit as Michaels will slot back onto the wing but Last said two weeks in his pre Wigan game interview and Radford said should be back for Wakefield so we have to wait.
Masi again showed us his improvement and added a couple of offloads to his game so with Watts likely to be missing he should get another outing with the same bench.

IF the panel are consistent, Isa didnt get a ban for a more servere cannonball, Griffin should be ok

If the disciplinary panel stay consistent, Griffin will only get a warning and Hadley will get a 1-2 match ban, same as Ellis.

If the RFL and the disciplinary panel are honest and fair then Watts should get SOS. Particularly as current & ex players are all in agreement in was not a red card and very harsh call.

As for Griffin I think he'll get a ban.

That's a big if.

Bans for both I fear and it wouldn't shock me to see Kelly in bother as well. Usual cover up for Wigan's foul play.

At least 2 games for Griffin a supposed dangerous tackle on TV they will want to send a message
As for Watts personally I don't think it was even a penalty but it will be classed as 3 times in a year for the same offence. I fully expect 2 -3 games for the offence plus a further 1-2 for the repetition. Hope I'm wrong in both cases but I wouldn't want to put money on it

Three images I took from games this season that I found in a matter of minutes. Inu on Taylor earlier this year, left Taylor on the ground (not injured), we scored as Watts pinched the ball 1 on 1 straight after this but nothing at all from the video ref or the RFL despite the clear raised elbow to the head.


hock 1st Round, no action taken, I mean it's fecking Hock ffs, if this was an issue Hock and almost every forward in SL would play less than half the season and be off the pitch every game!

We need the fans out in force for this one, even though Thursday night live on SKY isnt ideal. Crowd last week was given as 11k but far less than that in the ground with a lot of passholders missing.

I think its pretty much season over if we lose, and we need to back the team as best we can.

Potentially Ellis' last home game of the season too, I'll be coming over Thursday afternoon, looking forward to it.

No potential about it. We cannot reach second spot now so this will be the last time all leavers will play at the KC. Hopefully they'll receive the send off they deserve

Get there if you can, I know Thursdays can be a rush but as has been said this is Gareth Ellis' final game at the KCOM as well as it being a farewell to Mahe Fonua and Steve Michaels.
