| Referee appointed for the match with us and Cas is Chris Kendal.
Can't say he impressed me with the way he called the game against Wakey but at least its not Hicks or Child.

He was garbage against Wakey, completely cluless, hope he doesn't ruin what should be a great game.

| He let it flow too much and it boiled over after Michaels was tackled round the face for the fourth time. That won't slide on TV.

| The problem is that too many refs have left for various reasons so they're having to stick with the carp ones and promote more and more inexperienced ones. I think I read the other day that they've appointed some teenager to the full time refs panel now. It really needs sorting and that needs to start with more respect for them from players and coaches but a proper system to be put in place to raise concerns behind closed doors

| Thought Kendall was fine, the fact neither fans have mentioned him after the game says it all.
Think we can go into the game without much pressure, they will be massive favourites still and will be really up for this one, think they will win, but you can't either write us off.

Think it helps cas to be honest, can see us going into our shell to much if wet, and cas will still through the ball about as they did against leeds thursday, leeds couldnt catch a ball and cas still looked slick

| Think if either team get out into a lead the wet weather will then help. For me defensively we have to do what we've done previously and as soon as they PTB the defensive line has move up and meet them closing down the space and time for them. This is where Leeds seemed to fail and not apply to pressure Cas defensively particularly on the edges.
Key to any win again will be to keep them insight score wise. Then again reading the Cas forum we may as well not turn up as we are going to get hammered this time.
Its another intriguing match up and looking forward to it.

Good for us, IMO. May suppress Cas throwing the ball about like a hot potato and make it more of a forward battle. Our forwards have appeared to have the measure of theirs in the two games played so far.

| Strong squad only Ellis and Green (What is wrong with him?) out.
Think the starting 13 picks itself,
Bench of
Taylor
Thomspon
Griffin
Turgut or Fash
The last bench spot is the toughest choice.

They said that for the two previous games also and then when we win they is an excuse, ref or Gales injury were two common ones.
Best thing I saw on that forum was a post saying that they won't beat any team in the world including Melbourne Storm a few weeks ago, amazing what a few wins does to some fans.
Saying that I think these kind of comments are from a minority and I sure most know they should be in for a tough game

Michaels also out so looks like Connor to right centre
I would start Thomo at 13(for me plays better when starting) and with Griffin on the bench Fash over Turgut

Yeah just read the forum, they have some fans changing holidays so they do not miss the GF. We might as well stop the season now no-one else has a chance.

That did make me laugh, do they not learn from History, we were top of the league going into the 8's, and look where we ended up! (Having said that, we did win a CC Semi and Final, which Cas don't need to even worry about!)

| Can't see beyond a cas win for this one at their place and with their massive desire to prove they can actually beat us. They're good at their place but vulnerable away from home. Their 80 metre pitch is a massive advantage for them as they spend a lot of time in your 20 metre area and are well drilled so difficult to defend against. I'm not too worried if we lose and the away game at leeds is more important to us IMO

| I think we can turn them over again, if we keep it simple and starve them of possession cut the pens out then we have a great chance. With the weather being as it is let's hope they carry on the Harlem Globetrotters style the ball will be like a bar of soap.

Also we went into the Super 8s just a point clear of Warrington (with an inferior points difference) and two clear of third placed Wigan.
As it stands Cas could be in effect ten points clear of third place after this weekend. Unless they have a dramatic collapse they'll have a home play off game. They've not lost at home for a year and are averaging 40 points a game at the Jungle. I don't blame their supporters for being confident.

Well I've said all season I'd fancy us and Wigan against cas in a cup game / play off . I just think us and Wigan have the defence to keep cas out in important games and there not use to them kind of games , as our cup game showed . If Wigan sneak 4th , I'd fancy them to go through .

Glad you're not measuring me for a carpet mate. It complied with the old ruling of 100 yards but fell short when they changed it to 100 metres. Either way you've got your excuse in early.
