One of the players of the season for me so far. Has obviously stepped up to replace Ellis as pack leader to the extent where we are not really missing the skipper, certainly in terms of results. Need to keep him fit now. Possibly should even be captain now.

He seems to be really suffering with an ongoing back problem and can barley walk when he leaves the field but has been great in these last few games after a bit of an up and down start to the year IMO

Amazing last week that he came back on and played so well when you see the state of him when he gets substituted. As Jake says he could barely walk and took an age to get back to the dugout.

Yeh love sika , become one of my favorite players, massively underated in my opinion, or rather under appreciated

Think its taken Sika a while to settle in to SL but he is such a powerful player and leaves nothing in the tank. He takes no prisoners and has that mean side to him and he really steps it up in the games like Sunday.
Wouldn't say he is under rated but certainly doesn't get the plaudits he deserves, he's the modern day equivalent to Adam Maher for in that he goes about his work and does it well whilst battering the opposition only no disrespect to Adam. but Sika's on a different level.
I had him down on Sunday as my MOM for the tireless work in both attack and defence and no wonder he looks completely shot after each game.

Ultimate professional, everything he does is to an impeccable standard and he's never let us down. Does a lot of quiet, sometimes unnoticed work, but without him we really much worse off. Would lessen the impact of Ellis leaving massively and his presence this and last season along with Minichiello has been a big contributor to our successes.

He's been excellent for us,gives his all on the field.Tough and aggressive on the pitch,such a quiet unassuming man off it.Nice to read that he's really happy here.Seem's as though we have managed to play without Ellis's leadership just lately and it's players like Manu who have led from the front.

He was my MOM too! Very destructive and really enjoyed watching him play

Not getting the plaudits is absolutely right. Proven by your own post to how I feel I've seen him "Taken a while to settle" for me he was excellent from day 1 and said so many times last year how undervalued he was. Stepped up even more so this year. Love him. Best player in the wrestle in all of SL. Got some great footwork great hands and tough as anything. Privileged to have the chance to see him play for my team

My only issue with him was his discipline. He used to give away a lot of penalties, but he has curbed this recently.

It's never been as bad as made out. Got pinged for 4 in 1 game this yr which boosted numbers. Mini and Watts are worse
People talk of needing a nasty bar steward in the pack ..He's that. Comes with the territory

My player of the year this year. Kelly can only do what he does with the work Manu does that goes unnoticed

Thought he was good last year. Outstanding this year, really consistent.

Be tempted to rest him tonight though, as it looks like he could do with it.

I don't think his discipline has been too bad apart his stupidity against Warrington

I'm not saying he wasn't good last year at all but for me he seemed to take a while to settle in to SL and was guilty of giving away daft penalties. This season he seems to have cut the penalties committed down greatly and has stepped up another level as he really does seem settled in the the City, Club and league.

Yep, the man is class. The metres he makes after contact, tackling, footwork and got cheeky offload in him too. Joined the club under the radar due to the frenzy over Pritchard but he's proved his international class. Would have been nice to see both Manu's in our back row together

Willie Manu would have being phenomenal in this current team.

Another great game tonight and probably my MOTM. Has been better playing in the middle than wide out IMO
