He had a great game from what I heard, his first 'good' game. Sure he's had a few good spells but was average for the most part in the first 6 games and yes it would seem we need him given our tactics and use of personnel.
If he continues playing well then he justifies his place. I suggested previously he didn't. I guess everything you've said was accurate or didn't change because of how a player improved.

no, westy didnt do much but went off injured with a dead leg, still think we got the better deal

I liked westy, but we played him many minutes, & he missed a lot of tackles & gave a few silly frustrating penalties away, he wasn't prepared to be totally professional, we made money on him, in a sport that fees are rare, washy is a good grafter with a smart brain, so far so good with him.
