In talks with English RFL about a return to a proper sport ,Any thoughts?

Love to see him back in a proper game. I did want him to do well in union but you got the feeling their was more who wanted him to fail on the union side than the league. Especially on the press side. Hopefully a return to south's to make premier sports even more entertaining

Hope so, what complete waste of an exceptional rugby league player, playing that sack of ttteeee game, big Sam is all action, having his hands on the ball 10 times in a game and making 6 tackles is ridiculous , bet he doesn't even get a sweat on

Bad move him going to union. IMO I think he thought would be a breeze but wasnt. Looks as though he just went for the world cup and then jumped ship. Great player but left a few p issed of . Still have him here mind

Every club will approach him. They'd be daft not too.

Since he joined Bath I have regularly followed his progress in the game via their forum which is very active. I would like him to stay and be a force there and the Bath coach is adamant Burgess has told him he wants to stay. We shall see.

As a matter of interest Bath Rugby Club were formed in 1865 so the club are also celebrating their 150 year anniversary.

Yeh, we had a cross code game with Bath at their ground planned for semi final weekend last season, if we had not progressed in the competition, but they changed their Chief Executive and apparently he didn't like RL and that was that.

What a laugh some of the union ex players tweeting that "he could have been a good player given time". He already is a world class player but you have to give him the ball.

He's had a million less impacts ran 1000s of miles less and been paid loads whilst having a mental break from the grind of being a massive NRL star.

Can't wait to see him back in a England shirt alongside his brothers. With more players making their mark in the nrl we could have a genuine chance of a series/4 nations win.
