| Tricky to call 4-8 isn't it? Reckon Hudds and Cas will make it without Cup distractions, leaving 3 from 6 (not sure it's mathematically possible for Wakey?) So annoying to have lost yesterday.

| Really tough to make any confident predictions from 6th-11th. Huddersfield and Castleford should make the eight. Warrington have a tough run in aside form the Wakefield game and could possibly miss out.
I think if we win four of the six we should be OK. Cannot see a win at Headingley so the two Wakefield games are very important to win. More than likely will come down to the final week which is tough for us playing on the Thursday potentially leaving other clubs knowing what they need to do.

Warrington's an interesting one particularly with very likely cup distraction. Just can't call it. I would suspect Wakey, Widnes and Salford will be bottom three with 9th between us, Rovers, Catalans.

4 from the 6 is a must but is very do able in all honesty if they apply themselves as they have done of late.
Catalans should have been 2pts gained too but we just failed again to capitalise on the opportunity and Radford made poor decisions I thought with his team selection interchanges.
Think we may just sneak in the 8 but only just.

He highlighted the lack of bench impact as a key factor post match.

| 3 wins will do it IMO, can't see Rovers or Widnes winning 4 games (5 depending on points different). Or Salford winning 5 games.
However if we win 4, then we should finish in 6th and be in touching distance of the top 4.
Interesting few games coming up.

I'd be tempted to split Watts and Paea up.

| hard to say with us - we could win 5 or we could win 1 of the last 6. think we might squeeze into the 8 with 3 more wins but 4 should see us definately get there.
fancy us to beat wigan for some reason

Agree with this. Today I saw 2 fairly average teams, Widnes were (Wakefield aside) the poorest team to visit Craven Park all season.

widnes and les cats are gash away from home. Only their unfair home advantages make them competitive in this league

| Personally feel that another three wins will probably put us in the top eight come the split. To miss out on 22pts will require one of Widnes, rovers, Salford to win four or five of their remaining fixtures which looks a tall order.
Apart from the Leeds game, the rest look winnable given our recent form & attitude. The only nagging doubt I have is what if we've had our good run and the scales are about to tip back again. A dip in form could easily see us lose 5 of our remaining games with all the negativity that will ensue.
All things considered we should make the eight from here, but this is Hull Fc we're talking about and if there is one thing that my many years of watching has taught me, it's that we never ever do things the easy way.

| I think the Widnes result makes up for us losing at Cats to a certain degree but we have to have a decent performances against Leeds.
Play badly and/or get battered and they'll be going into the Wakey game not only under pressure because they'd be a huge expectation to win but 3 losses on the trot knocks a bit of confidence.
In some ways don't mind losing the league game if we win the CC match as that'd be a great boost before the Wakey games.

| Two massive games this weekend regarding these positions:-
Widnes v hudds.
Widnes lose they are in trouble with a maximum of 19 points they can achieve, that should put them below us.
HKR v Wire.
Warrington are the interesting team for me, some really tricky fixtures and they are inconsistent at best. If rovers beat them this sunday, I think we will finish above Wire. Also puts HKR really back in the mix.
Great league this year.

| I dont know about all these "winnable" games. Each and every game from now till the split is hard to call. Although Wakefield are a poor side I dont expect them to roll over and die when we play them. They have to win sometime don't they? But beating them twice would give me a lot more confidence. Leeds away this week I don't expect to get anything out of but am hoping for a win the week later in the cup. A few games where we haven't closed out the win or should have been more clinical could still cost us (Salford away Catalans on Saturday and Wire at home) I suppose thats what the "Super 8's" is all about and the fact it could go down to the last game to decide who is in the top 8 is a win for the RFL.

| Its so difficult to call any games atm, I think provided you don't pick up any key injuries to either Ellis or Pryce in th enext 2 Leeds games then you'll walk into the 8. We need to turn over wire to have any chance of making it even then the likelihood of us being fit enough to beat salford off the back of the cup is low.
I think Wakey will win another game this season and no doubt they'll see their game against you off the back of a short turn around as one to target.
I think this bottom split has made the 'normal' season a lot better, not sure how it'll shape up for the top 8, will depend on how far away a team in 7 or 8 are away from 4th in the run up. The middle 8's will be tense and exciting, just rather not be in them.

Wakey are a very poor side who have won only twice this season and if we don't win both our matches against them we don't deserve to make the 8.

They also have a new coach joining who I would expect to make them more of a competitive side. Although consigned to the middle 8 I expect he will want them to start building some form for when the middle 8's start.

They may well be more competitive but we are supposed to be improving too and I will still be very disappointed if we don't beat them twice. If we have any ambition we should be putting teams like them to bed. We have some tough matches coming up and really need to win these two.
