Just don't understand this situation with Cunningham.It seems obvious Radford doesn't rate him at 9 as he never plays him in that position.
If we are to have one of Naughton or Shaul out of the side or playing at Doncaster why not use their pace at 9.
Still think Rankin will play more games at 6.

Shaul just doesn't have the passing game or defence to be anywhere near the 9 shirt. I still don't know a lot about Naughton but I would imagine the same goes for him. Rankin seems a more viable option, but now we've signed Howarth it won't be happening.

Let's give the kid a chance. Think he will do OK for us .

After what i saw of Howarth on Sunday I'd rather play Arundel at 9, and that's saying something.

The number 9 role for me is a bit of a concern.
Houghton is adequate, Cunningham has not impressed me when I have seen him. We have lost our best 9 in Azza .

Alternatively before slating Cunningham for not being good enough we could give him a chance and reserve our decision until he's played a few games?

After watching the match on FCLIVE I can now understand the concern about Cunningham. Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't see him playing hooker. Played more like a second rower unless I got him mixed up with somebody else. If it was him he got through a lot of tackling. In the second half a dark haired lad seemed to be playing there. Couldn't make out his number because the quality of the video is so poor. Can't believe the poor quality is. I hope it's going to be better in the future. Compare that to the RFL highlights of the England academy games which is HD quality! Even on my own camera it's miles better than that.

The kid was wearing 26 but Downs played in the first game. I think it was Josh Wood.
