Saturday night fixtures have always been low attendance fixtures. Quite why someone decided this game was ideal for that is anyone's guess. Friday or Sunday would have seen considerably more. Besides, I think you have more pressing concerns than the attendance figures of little old Salford.

Well put it this way had it not ben for the Hull fans (five Coaches and several mini buses) the attendance would have been under 3000, which for the money an faith Koukash has shown is abysmal!.

I would be careful mocking other clubs crowds, the way we are playing ours will be sub 8k next year, i know several long-time supporters who have simply had enough of it all

they have to ask easthullfcfan if they qualify as supporters first, if your name isn't on his list then you can't come in anyway!

Our attendance's are decent but are slipping I and I think they'll massively drop next year. Salford's will increase then they start winning things so were hardly in a position to make fun of anyone at the moment.

IF! Just because they are buying big name players etc does not mean they will win things.

You know your team was sh*t when it comes to mocking your oppositions attendances.

We finished bottom of the pile last season, Koukash and the club did brilliantly in marketing the the Red Devilution during the off-season which was rewarded with a 7k plus figure at the first game. Ever since the numbers like our performances have become worse. People don't turn up to see a team getting beat week-in-week-out. Our late resurgence this season may have come too late to get the floating fans back, but I'm confident a winning Salford team will drag them back through.

I would love to see the numbers clubs like Hull would following years of dross and failure which we have endured.

Worryibg trend is that everyones crowds are down, unless the new structure injects some enthusiasm the decline could become terminal. Koucash, for all his faults has added a massive talking point along with a considerable amount of cash, yet I still think a lot of fans would be glad if he walked, I'm sure a lot of fans of every club would be happy to be stood in a crowd of 1000 'true fans' than see their sides ground full.

To be fair Hulls attendances held up even after some poor finishes under agar some clubs reach the ceiling in how many fans they get even a winning Salford side I think would struggle to get over 6000 Widnes have always been around the 5000 mark even when they were world champions
